Good article. Problem is, the Cavs have lost two in a row. So no matter how many times it is explained that it will take a few games to get everything together, the knuckleheads will still scream "the sky is falling" and criticize the trade.

The Cavs would have had to go undefeated the rest of the way for some of the idiots on here to be happy.

It will take a few weeks, the Cavs will be the 5 seed, they will beat Toronto, and then play either Boston or Detroit. That probably would have been the case without the trade.

Go Cavs!

Mr. Danny Ferry made a great move with this trade.
GO CAVS !!!
Now you're trying too hard... turd.

Next you're going to try and say Shapiro and Savage have never made a big trade or big FA signing.

The more I read his retarded comments, the more I think he's not even that old or grumpy, just a middle aged hack who has limited if any sports knowledge and a big mouth.

How about the Boston Globe comments after Wednesday's game:

"Don't make the mistake of dismissing Cleveland based on what you saw. The Cavaliers' young shooter, Daniel Gibson, is still hurt. Anderson Varejao is still finding his sea legs after holding out to start the season. And the King's new court is still learning how to jell."

"'I like them better,' Rivers said.'They scare me as much as any team in the NBA. They did before the trade, and even more now.'"

Hoping for the team to lose is kind of the opposite of being a fan...

Wow, finally a woman contributes something useful to one of our sports post. Let's make her an "honorary" man. Because at the end of the day, all women except Carolyn just don't belong posting on a sports site. They should be fixing snacks for us while we post.

Okay Tad, let me get this straight. You hope the Cavaliers don't make the playoffs. Are you new to Cleveland? Because if you were you'd know you don't have to "hope" for bad things to happen to a Cleveland team. They always happen (Sipe, The Drive, Byner, pick any Indians playoff performance over the past two decades, the sweep). The fact that you would hope for it is what is sick. What are you, 3 years old. "I'm mad at Danny Ferry so I want the Cavaliers to lose." What a great philosophy.

Here's another hack mad cause Lebron makes more money then his WHOLE family. Look, this team needed changes and Lebron has the RIGHT to demand change cause he busts his butt night in and night out to bring this franchise and the city of cleveland it's first championship. It's Larry's fault he got traded! He shouldn't have been lobbing bricks at the rim going 3 for 17 and 2 for 15! It's Gooden's fault that he got traded! He should've hit the gym during the summers to work on a mid range jumper! He should've hit the weight room to get stronger! It's not our fault that the guy looks so dang lost on off/def sometimes!

I love the winning attitude that Lebron has brought to this city cause I'm TIRED for our teams embarrassing us and NOT taking it personal. Lebron is the face of the city deal with it! He's earnt the right to make demands and to share his opinions!
