Deshawn who? LeBron is about as overrated as Beyonce's backside...Maybe Gooden should also tell him that he should shut his mouth until he posts better numbers than the 11/3/2 he gets each night vs. LeBron's 30/8/8. But 'Bron, do you really have to go over and be high fiving JiggaMan after letting the Nets whip up on you and your boys? Send the guy a text or something, but don't be so friendly with a team's owner after taking one on the chin. I don't ever remember Jordan high fivin' Wayne Embry...

Sure, because the Wiz ALWAYS take care of business in the playoffs. Personally, I don't see the Cavs getting past the 2nd round, but I think they'll surely beat the wizards. I have a hard time calling this a rivalry.

Yeah right. And who is this little snot making a judgement about one of the top NBA players? I could see somebody arguing that LeBrno should not be the MVP. Or even that there are a number of players in the NBA that have as good of or better over all game than he does. But overrated? From a guy with the crappy stats he has, 11 PPG in 32 minuts.

Umm, this is absurd. WHAT rivalry? WHAT feud? Doesnt a rivalry require two worthy opponents and the chance that both sides have a chance at succeeding?

Stevenson will be forgotten in the next couple of years, and James will be a Hall of Famer along with numerous accolades and records. This isnt even a fair contest.

I do see it as a legitimate rivalry, and to be honest, I don't want any part of the Wizards in the first round. Between Jamison, Butler, and a returning Arenas, it could be a six or seven game series. I'm not saying the Cavs would lose, but it would be considerably tougher than a series with Toronto or Philadelphia.

That being said, Stevenson is a joke and LeBron would absolutely torch him in the playoffs. Just look what he did to the entire Pistons team last year. My concern though would be defending the Wizards' big three, along with Antonio Daniels and Brendan Haywood.....those two always seem to play better against us than they do against everyone else.

I agree that it's definitely been one-sided.....but similar to the Cavs-Pistons a couple years ago, I think this could be a case where if you don't respect your opponent they could come back to bite you.

I'm with you fingers, but it TRULY became a rivalry when the Cavs sent them home last year. Until the Washington Generals... err Wizards, send LeBron and co packing, I'm not sure we should go around calling it a rivalry.

Fair points all around tho.

Slow day at the ABJ? I don't think I needed to read an article about the suddenly HEATED rivalry between two middle-of-the-pack Eastern Conference teams.

PS - Anderson Varejao still sucks.

Yup, because 27ppg 10rpg, and 7.6apg again the Wizards this year sucks. Eh, I guess when you're used to Lebron beating up on you worse (see last years playoffs, and well, the year before that too), 27-10-7 doesn't seem that impressive.

As bad as Anderson has been in trying to create, his fundamental D is even worse. Andy's a great rebounder (esp offensively) and takes the charge (some say a flopper that refs aren't givng him as much), but Andy is so frequently out of position, doesn't rotate on weak side help D and, otherwise, doesn't stay in front of his man

Who is Lebron- i agree with Stevenson, he is overrated in the league. I hope we get them in the playoff with all our players back so that they can get a taste of their own medicine. We have played them wounded in the last playoffs and now our players are back. Again, who is Lebron?

Wizards should go back to being called the Bullets...less of a sissy name...no way they can beat the Cavs. Lebron is the lead scorer in the league, that's who Lebron is!!!!

Who is Lebron? oh yea, he's the one who dropped a triple double on your wiz in his first ever playoff game and then proceeded to hit two game winning shots in the series and then sweep you the next year.
