Any way they can block LeBron, Varajao, etc., from playing in the Olympics as well? I'm just waiting for the day they all run into each other on the court and end up injured. It's Cleveland, you know it can happen.

Apparently, the US is afraid to lose to Lithuanians in olympics... Good strategy, but this just isnt right! Hope to see big Z in LT national team and kick some ***, especially to US!

Common' ya winy yankees. You know that with international basketball rules Lithuania has a full propoper chances of beating anybody in the world, even with you selfish all-stars...its not your rules and its not a show like it is in nba, but real game. You add former allstar Ilgauskas to already very potent team and we are not afraid of anybody. GO LT!!!

NBA players should not be participating in the Olympics, which have historically been for amateur athletes only. Well, other than Russia's interpretation.

May as well send LeBron, Z, and Winslow on a barnstorming tour for Extreme Games Motocross!

It is just plain stupid for professional athletes to be risking their livelihoods on meaningless activities such as the Olympics. Or motorcycle riding.

Winslow is quoted as saying how dominating he'd be if he was as healthy now as he was in college. Guess what, Kellen... just imagine how healthy you would be now if you weren't a jack az brainless kid a few years ago and not tried to throw away your football career while on the back of a motorcycle.

it has nothing to do with the usa basketball team. its businees. the cleveland cavaliers have alot of money invested in Z and they are trying to prevent him from wearing down. the nba season is tough and by the end is usually gased. he is in his mid 30's and needs the rest in the offseason. saying that though he should be allowed to play for his country. he wasnt able when he was younger due to all the injuries and should get a chance to do it now. nothing is better then playing for your country and hearing your national anthem when you win gold.

Danny Boy (Ferry) go ahead and let Z play on his home team--and while you are at it--let laboobie go also. since when did you tell players where and when they can play ball? didn't seem to tell laboobie no to go speeding 101 mph a couple of months ago.(by the way i may use his line on my birthday and see what headlines and trouble i get into.)
