Same old story with bynum.or was that kwambe. The team should shed its self of this playoff anchor. I thouroughly enjoyed watching Artest toss up those cement blocks in the last 3 min. I dont understand the lack of aggression and hesitation vs the zone. Sadly watched Kobe with 4 players defending toss up a shot and every other laker had retreated to their basket. Sad shooting, no movement, hesitant passing.......yuck very poor show.

They played a pretty awful game a deserve to lose this one . If Lamar Odom will continue to eat dust from Amar'e Stoudemire , then the Lakers' hopes are all gone . He has been really stupid to let Amar'e get into his head and forget to playball . Not the right move to make when we needed him most since Andrew Bynum is hurting ( another excuse ).
I expect them to play more intelligently and steal one from the Suns' homecourt in their next game . If not ... then we really have a series .

I thought they got Artest to check players like Stoudemire. If he can't guard him what good is he?

Three ridiculous posts. Save the time and energy IF you guys are going to post such drivel.

1. The Lakers ARE going to put away the Suns in 5

2. The Suns played with a HUGE sense of urgency and desperation. They KNEW that going down 0-3 would mean DEATH to them.

3. Even after claiming Game 3, the Suns are dead, they just don't know it yet.

4. After going on a 8-0 Playoff Win Streak, the Lakers were 'due' for a loss. Better this round than against the Slimy Septics in the Finals.

5. The NBA, like most major sports, is about Player Match-Ups. Even Kobe compared basketball strategy to a "chess match." Phil Jackson IS a Grandmaster when it comes to NBA playoff "chess."

6. When Lamar is 'expect' to deliver, he sometimes has trouble. Lamar IS an extremely valuable member of the Lakers, but he performs best when people don't place the burden of high expectations on him.

7. The Lakers KNOW the Green Septics will soon be coming to L.A. for Game 1. The Purple & Gold WILL be ready for them. Count on it!

Dream on buddie, I bet you also believed the Western Conference Tickets would sell out quickly.

The Lakers are done, and I for 1 cant wait to see Phoenix beat that ass.

the lakers cant be complacent. they win a couple of games and start thinking they're the stuff. This has happened time and time again. They got to drop theyre pride and focus on winning by stomping the suns into the dirt. No matter if your 2 games up or two games down you always got to play with urgency. The lakers are getting cocky.

If the Lakers are having trouble with guys like Amare and Cortez just think how much trouble they're going to have with Garnett,Davis, Perkins,Piece and Wallace. Without Bynum at full strength the Lakers are weak and will be pushed around just like in 2008.

It's one game guys, give the suns a little credit they are pretty good, lakers made lots of mistakes, and didn't match the intensity of the suns, probably buying all of the hype surrounding this series and already thinking boston. If this doesn't serve as a wake up call then you worry for next game, then you worry a little.

Of cousre, the fairweather fans emerge after ONE loss. LOL

Amusing how everyone expects the Lakers to steam roll over everyone and never lose.

I picked Lakers in 6 in this series. If Boston sweeps (and they probably will) they get to stay out of action longer and POSSIBLY develope a few Cobb webs.

Have faith Laker Nation, Lakers will prevail and repeat!

You should know this wouldn't be L.A. if we didn't make room for a little drama. Gotta keep the ratings up, ya know.
Lakers in 5. Or maybe 6 if the weather is off.
Meanwhile, I'm waiting for DHoward to vent his frustration by crippling Rondo in Game 4 East. Tee hee!
you have a sellout attitude. thats what wrong with sports in general. you should always play with passion and dont let your opponents get up for air lest they run you to the dirt.

Can you elaborate about "what's wrong with sports in general"?

But the team showed support against the immigration law (I'm guessing that is your reason for not wanting an Arizona team winning) by wearing uniforms with "Los Suns".
