The new system needs shooters to work. You can move the ball all you want, but if the open man always ends being a 20-30% shooter (crawford) you still play catch up all game.

Unlike guys like shandon Anderson, Eisley, and now MArbury who will takle the big money the KNicks foolishly signed them to for litle or no return, Houston knows that there is unfinished business. The body may not be willing but at least the mind is.. he can also show the kids how to be a professional ball player.

What's wrong with Houston ? Why would he want to come to a team that has no class. This is just a P R stunt by the Knicks.

Why would we want Houston? You people are something stupid.

You're right, Houson is a good human being not some low life POS like most on the Knicks.

He would only bring respect and professionalism to a team in desperate need of it.

Why Houston!?

A new regime..a new coach..and Houston is attempting another comeback with the Knicks..Nothing changes..If that's the case then get Charles Oakley back in town.

Why?, Why?, Why? Are we all forgetting that the identitiy of the Knicks changed from hard-noise workman gutsy players to easy-to-push around softies as the reigns were handed over to Houston? He made enough money for doing nothing the first time around....let him go somewhere else! After his $100 contract, the Knicks started declining, have we forgotten. Heck, that contract hurt the Knicks for years. I believe he is a good person, but your $100M main man gets bullied by a bad back one legged Dan Majerle in the playoffs against the Heat, when the Knicks blew a 3-1 lead and you want him back!
