i think this guy bailed as the knicks were crumbling (as if they weren't in shambles already at that time) and now wants a piece of the action if the new team succeeds....other than bring the maturity/leadership this team obviously has been lacking for a lonnnnng time, there is no evidence he will be of the same calibur before his 'arthritic' knee started to act up and we saw him on the sidelines with buckets of ice.....time will tell for the impact of houston's new tenure, but i am a little skeptical----start in the d-league to get your rythm back first

Allen, much beligned in the press will not arise like a Phoenix from the ashes of the papers that had his obituary written. They sized him up, his big contract, his one lucky shot but they couldn't measure the mans heart and his faith. True Knick fans always knew U would be back. We saw through the injury and saw the heart and now so will the rest of the world......give em Hell U and next time hit all net so there won't be any whining about a "lucky shot".

Actually, I'll wait to make that judgement call. In all actuality, the Knicks really don't need nate at all. That is the one person I would trade

Considering Houston got paid for not playing, can we assume he'll play and not get paid and count against the cap or that he'll play out the existing 2 years that he didn't play but got paid -- assuming he even makes the team?
