Darius Rice could be interesting. If he can duplicate his summer league play, he could easily replace Donyell Marshall with more youth and athleticism. That would be nice.

Reggie Miller. Allan Houston. Troy Hudson. All part of Ferry's shrewd "quiet but active" summer. That man sure knows how to put together a team to compete with the West's best, doesn't he?

If the bold courting of Houston falls through, Wilt Chamberlain is available, and my dogs like to dig.

No ... no ... no. Please, no Allan Houston. I have nothing against the guy, but bringing in a man who has been retired for a couple of years and hasn't done anything of significance in a half-decade is not the answer.

Come on Ferry, we haven't done anything this offseason. Every team in the East is improving and we are standing still and watching......great! Obviously we were so dominant last year that we can afford to just coast and have no problems.....wake up and do your job. Oh well, I guess it'll be another year of watching LeBron try to create offense by himself 30 feet away from the basket. Our team made it to the Finals last year, I'm predicting a 4 or 5th seed this year and a 2nd round bounce if we don't acquire some support for James. I think I like Ferry as much as a GM as much as I like him as a player......

PLEASE sign allan houstan...he was a DEADLY shooter and the no 1 guy for the Knicks...Im sure Cavs and START him at SG and Lebron can come off the bench..Lebron James would be a good backup SG to Allan Houstan..
starting lineup 08: Snow PG, Houston SG, Marshall SF Gooden PF Ilgauskas C
This team will dominate..Lebron will being experience off the bench and maybe be a role player who dont score much..I mean Lebron is getting old and he cant really be the go-to guy anymore

Yes Cleveland came but a few games away from an NBA championship but getting over that hump will not be accomplished what so ever by acquiring Allan Houston. Unless Cleveland wants him to fill the roll of bench warmer and provide additional cheering then by all means sign him. Cleveland needs veteran help but going into the retired senior free agent pool won't pay any dividends. I'd rather take my chances on Regie Miller. Lebron is watching and he is not no fool so if Cleveland doesn't make any moves to improve then time is already running out.

Lebron James is getting old and rusty..it showed in the finals..thats why they lost you dumb UK faggot..Allan Houstan is the answer..he brings atheletisim and shooting to Cavs...he will dominate with his scoring ability..LEbron James can lead the team with his veteran knowledge...but there isnt much left in his tank..Lebron cant dominate the game like Houstan NO WAY Lebron James to the BENCH for 08!!!!! If the Cavs are looking to sign an aging veteran with knee problems, tha tells me that the current young players in this league are not good enough to win.

The Cavs are stagnent. That means they are headed in the wrong direction. Time to spend some money or has the owner been wiped out by the mortgage financing problems.
