Does anybody think drafting Flynn is Kahn's first big mistake? I mean I still think he's really going to be good, but will he be better than Curry or Jennings? That I'm not sure of.

I agree with Matt. There is something that doesn't quite jell about Flynn's game. It's hard to pinpoint because he seems to be all about intangibles -- some that he has, some that he lacks -- and those are deucedly hard to quantify. My lurking fear is that he's a dynamic, charismatic, interesting guard who is not quite a one or a two. Every time I see him have a good game or a weak game, the same little voice keeps whispering in my head, "Randy Foye, Randy Foye." If I were king, I'd trade Flynn and put my money on Sessions as a long term project because he sees the court with a wider view. Or else I'd put Sessions in charge of the team and move Flynn to the second unit, which, by the way, is becoming the strength and surprise of this Wolves team.

Flynn just needs to mature a little. He's a little careless with the ball. I agree Sessions is the better option right now though. There were a ton of questions about Jennings before the draft, it would've been a reach to take him (plus, he's coming back down to Earth a lot now since his first two months since people know how to play him). Curry doesn't have the talent of Flynn or upside (he shoots well, but he can't get his shot off against a good defender). If Kahn can get Gay next year and maybe another sub, they'll be decent. Brewer has been looking good lately though.

I wasn't happy with Flynn getting the nod to start without winning the job, because Sessions seems clearly better. Besides, Flynn is a shoot first, shoot second PG who gets a lot of his shots blocked. But, he had back to back games with eight assists to start this win streak. If he can ever become a guy who can average 8-10 assists, I think he'll be a winner. But if he continues to focus on his own shot, he'll be a Marbury type player who loses games for a living.

If Flynn had finishers, he would average 7-8 dimes this year. He will be a good player.

Kahn's first big mistake was drafting Rubio. The kid clearly signaled he did not want to play in Mpls, and you just don't burn a #5 pick on a kid from another country that says he doesn't want to play for you. Totally wasted pick, and signing Sessions just rams that point home.

He should have either passed and taken Curry, packaged the two picks to move up and take Evans, or had a trade with the Knicks worked out if he was going to take Rubio.

Huge blunder, total waste of a high draft pick. We could be 2-3 players away right now instead of 3-4.

David Kahn is an idiot. He was hired by Glen Taylor so, that's how I'm backing that statement. We're 3-4 players away from a championship. Huh? What a moronic statement being that only 5 people play. Why doesn't he just come out and say, "Well, I'm pretty confident we are going to be able to dump some more salaries, draft John Wall, and sign Lebron and D-Wade." (As he takes a puff of his crack pipe and floats away into his land of delusion.)
