He wont end up with the celtics, a good thing KG would elbow him and freeze him out of the game.

"The Wolves' lottery pick will be no lower than fifth, but Aldrich is not projected to be a top five choice. Aldrich, however, is expected to be off the board when the Wolves pick at No. 16 and No. 23 in the first round."

They couldn't pass on John Wall or Evan Turner if they get a 1 or 2 pick, but anytime after that, Aldrich is in the mix: http://insider.espn.go.com/nbadraft/draft/tra...

Once the Wolves end up with Evan Turner it's time to do some wheeling and dealing. We have two other 1st round picks as well as some players that could be packaged to move up and select Aldrich.
Darko and Aldrich would be a good young combo inside.

If he's around at the 16th pick, I would take him.
I wouldn't move up to grab me though.
He's a fringe lottery pick, I would compare him to Nick Collison type.

Don't do it Cole. Listen to the advice Garnett just gave LeBron. Go to a team that will surround you with quality players and coaching. You aren't good enough to carry a team.

Good for Cole. Someone who actually WANTS to play for the Wolves.

I hope they get Jordan Crawford from Xavier with one of their later first round picks. We don't have anyone who can get their shot off at will. He'd fit well with either Wall or Turner.

In the NBA draft, the player doesn't select a team...the team selects the player.

It would be fun to have a home town guy play for the T-Wolves, and I think his self-assessment is fair - he would be a big defensive presence for the them. However, he may not be a top priority for the T-Wolves and he certainly won't be available later. So, Aldrich will play eslewhere, which he might be thankful for when the T-Wolves continue to rebuild.
