The Minnesota Timberwolves have agreed to trade power forward Al Jefferson to the Utah Jazz for two future first-round draft picks and the salary-cap trade exception, a person with knowledge of the deal told the Associated Press today.

Great trade *applause*. We got him basically for free. Dude was debated hard as a #1 against Derrick Rose.

A lot of people have poor work ethics and drug issues that go to work. At the end of the day the work is done and they still keep their job.

The kid tried the wild side a little, it's not a problem.

The destruction of the team is nearly complete.
Kahn = Emporer
Rambis = Vader
Wolves Fans = the Rebellion
Rubio = Luke Skywalker currenlty training with the Real FC Dagobah, under coach Yoda.

Just keep the ball out of Darkos hands. The last thing we fans need to see are weak base-line hooks that are only about 20%.

GOOD POINT OF CONCERN...
"Miami did NOT have to trade Mike Beasley because of his salary .... If that's the case why would Miami just sign Mike Miller for $6 M/year"...
THE REASON MAY SIMPLY BE BOTH BOSH AND LEBRON WOULD both PLAY IN THE WINGS WHERE MIKE BEASLEY PLAYS...further young Beasley would not handle coming off the bench well or role play...causing his confidence and attitude to suffer further in the shadows of Lebron, Bosh and Wade...Their plans...was detrimental just this year with the all the talk...he probably felt he was not in their plans...just road kill...in their way...Sure proved to be a self fulfilling prophecy. Additionally... Mike Miller is the perfect fit to come off the bench with the instant 3's. Pat Riely sending Beasley to Rambis...is quite classy as a trusted friend and mentor relationship...
LOOK...Beasley may redeem some of the dreams and expectations… he had for himself… at Minnesota where he is wanted and may be greatly appreciated...He was just to young and talented to be a shadow on the bench and he would not have survived...fulfilled his expectations…just as a role player!!!
A power forward is not a wing .... at 6'7" Beasley is an undersized Power Forward(just like the 6'7 3/4" Kevin Love) so now the Woofies have 2 undersized PF's one that is athletic and one who is slow ,can't jump or get his shot off down in the post.... Bosh will be at the Center position most of the time so if they thought anything of Beasley he would be there as the PF .... the league knows of Beasley's troubles and lack of effort .... keep guzzling the kool aid

Miami needs a sharpshooter and a center who can play d. Beasley is either. Mike, on ther other hand, is a sharpshooter.
or a PF who will play D .... Beasley doesn't do that either and he's undersized and Miami has had enough of him....If Beasley was so good why did they just sign Haslem for close to the same contract at the same position or why would they even sign Haslem as they don't need a PF like you claim .... Miami already has 2 of the best defenders in the game in D Wade and Bron

We got the #2 pick from 2 years ago for 2 second rounders and people are gonna complain? Really? Its worth giving up 2 second rounders just to see if he turns into the Beast they thought he was gonna be. Yes he had some issues in the past but it hasnt been anything serious and now seems to have things under control. Kahn is changing this franchise which is exactly what we needed. As I have said before we probably wont compete this year and maybe not next but I personally like the direction we are going in. Im not to big on the Jefferson trade if its gonna be just for draft picks but just wait and see how it plays out.
Wait and see wait and see wait and see wait and see wait and see blah blah blah.... We've heard that for 15+ years now! Gemmeabreak! ;(

Everybody needs to stop hatin' and start congratulatin'!
Beasley will be the beast he was meant to be in MN! He just needed to be the man again. Playing Wade's 2nd fiddle was not a good look for the K-State Star (do you rememeber how much of a monster he was 2 years ago!!??!!). And now that Jeff is gone (HORRIBLE MOVE BTW!!!) Beasley can shine.
5. Love (f@#k Darko)- 4. Beasley - 3. W. Johnson - 2. Webster - 1. Flynn... lets play!
STOP MAKING MOVES KAHN!! Let these boys play!!

Beasley was not a monster 2 years ago .... not a monster last year and WILL never be a monster .... Beasley is undersized and he's no Charles Barkley , that's for sure .... being D Wade's second fiddle gave him many open shots and looks when D Wade was double and triple teamed .... still Beasley managed a putrid 13 pts a game .... yeah, what a beast

Wow, you are one confused little man. Haslem can play d and Beasley cannot. Maybe that's why. You just mentioned it in your post and you're asking? Ok.

So they have LBJ and WADE to play D? Ok, can they guard BYNUM? DUNCAN? DIRK? GASOL? STOUDEMIRE?... Know where I'm going? Jus cause they have those 2 who can collect a few steals and blocks each night doesn't mean they do not need bigs who can defend the paint.

I'm talking 2 years ago at K-State, not Miami.
He only played 28 minutes a game for the Heat and avg 15ppg and 7 boards as a 2nd fiddle (and he put up 20+ in the games Wade was gone)... that ain't bad for 28 minutes! Give him 35-40 and he would be a 20/10 guy easy! Plus you know playing with Wade probably hurt the man's "I was a hot shot in college" ego. It's not easy to go from singing lead to just being part of the band.
And we're not talking Barkley, thats a legend. I'm just saying give the man a fighting chance. He JUST got drafted in 2008! Damn! Let the brotha take a minute to learn the NBA game! What is he... 21! He's just a baby! I bet you think Blake Griffin is a bust already too, and he hasn't even laced up yet! If the Wolves start Beasley and give him good minutes, he will be an ALL-STAR in 2 years. Maybe even this year! You heard it here first! I'm a bitter Wolves fan too, but you gotta recognize a steal deal when you get one. Shyt, I can't even remember the last time the Wolves got the overhead on a deal! This one is a first! Just calm down.. and go buy that Beasley jersey. Soon to be your new favorite Wolf!

Not a good deal? How not? Are you trying to say that the people we would get from those to picks are gonna be better than beasley? there is only about 5% chance that those two picks turn into what beasley can or already is. he may be a little childish but i think the trade may have woke him up.
