If he trusts Beasley, why didn't he trust Cousins? Cousins is going to be a dominating beast for years to come. I think Beasley can do alright, but he will never have the presence, or value, of Cousins. Seriously, what would you tell the guy that just traded for you if he asked about your pot-smoking? At least we know Beasley is smart enough to say the right things. Some people are posting that they like the way Kahn is open about things... I think it's just that he likes to hear himself talk. We'll see when the rubber hits the road this winter just how good (or clueless) Kahn is.
Re: Cousins-Beaslye comparison -- see my post above. Read before you write -- that's the only way this forum will ever build to anything other than basement rants.

Sorry, your first sentence said you liked Kahn so you lost all credibility with me so I stopped reading it. I guess your guy thinks it's O.K. to smoke dope as long as his players aren't smoking too much. Great message for our kids and the 20-somethings that make up the Wolves roster. Nice to see you are standing behind this phoney. Sorry if I repeated anything, still haven't read your potenitally marijuana induced rant!

Let's see -- you don't like Kahn, you saw that I said I like Kahn, and so you stopped reading. Hmmm.

Why are you irratated at me?
Do you hate hearing the truth?
I'm not the idiot making these moves.
You are upset because you know I'm right, but you want the team to be good, OR....
you are out to prove P.T. Barnum's point.

GM David Kahn has manuevered our roster into a group of players who will be the base for our success in two years --- AND gained assets in the process!! Not easy to do --- It's all about finding the right mix of players and it can take a turnstile to get there --- Mr Kahn has succeeded in that aspect and continues to hold multiple first round draft choices and maintain salary cap space for next year. Michael Beasley acquired for two SECOND-round choices is such a low-cost deal; and Beasley is still on the rookie-scale contract this year. Astute acquisition on a player that, even with his "issues" at ages 19-21, has the chance to be a significant contributor for us...
Oh now, I went back and read your posts.

You really need to stop smoking the Beasley weed. It has affected your perception of reality.

What truth "Not a Believer"?. You stated nothing. I think you like to take "POT SHOTS" (no pun intended) at posters who actually think and process moves being made. Clearly you are an amateur NBA rube. BUT you can improve upon your analytical abilities by actually assessing what teams have and what their rationale was in getting to that point. Work hard "Not a Believer". You WILL get there!!
