I was beginning to think that the Timberpuppies were going after the consecutive losing record held by that perpetual team opponent of the Harlem Globetrotters. Nice going Minnesota!

It was good to see the smiles on the guys' faces tonight. Thanks, men, for a well-earned victory that was fun to watch.

It does show one thing: "We don't like to lose" is not the same thing as "We're not going to lose," and the prospect of the dubious record of 0-March plus the franchise streak for losing put guys in the mind of "We're not going to lose."

Thanks, and congratulations.

Got a little scared toward the end of the game, but then Corey came in and showed just how spectacular he can be! Wow!

I can't beleive it has taken three years for Jefferson to figure out that the team is better when he plays defense. He needs a head slap! Come on - can he really be that dense???

OTo xboro and god darn: shut up. People like basketball and some of us are loyal to our local teams. Not every team can win a championship every year. These are good guys, they are learning to play together, and they have their moment of good basketball. You must have very small lives if you are wasting your time reading about and commenting on a team you do not care about. Find something useful to do with your lives.

Go Wolves! Let's win out the rest of the season.

I'm with you "Wolvesfan"! It's good to see the Wolves win for a change! I know we're in the "re-building" stage, but come on fans, let's hang in there with them and hope the future has better to offer for the team, after all KG is gone and we have to cheer for the local basketball team anyway!

we arent talking about winning championships every year..we are talking about one of the five worst franchises in a professional sports..I likbe basketball too, but what the Wolves play can't be considered as basketball

It is interesting to see how much Darko contributes to this team. I think it is about time that the "Kahn-bashers" give Kahn credit for picking up Darko for NOTHING. Darko passes the ball willingly, sets screens, blocks shots, rebounds, and plays honest defense. It seems like
Darko is having some fun and I bet that he stays. If so, the Wolves could concentrate on building their roster by adding some wing players in the upcoming draft. Turner, W Johnson, and Aminu would all help, depending on draft position.

It is nice to see these guys get a "W". We are in no danger of losing ping pong balls, so I hope the winning continues, and that the players start to have a little more fun.

I would pit my sons jr high team against these guys. And my son does not get paid a 7-8 figure salary.

Nice positive spin on this fiasco. Especially with the other major headline:'Season ending, so is owner's patience'. Shouldn't the headline actually be:

"Timberwolves Lay Down Less Than Kings (at least for one night)"?

If Darko stays I would even spring for League Pass next year. I think that if he stays, it might mean more than just one man. It would allow the
Franchise to go after some supporting cast to fill
in, and we have some good parts already.

Might just have some fun.

Osboro - What are they supposed to do when they win? Cry? Act disgusted with themselves?? Do you have any happiness at all in your life? I'm guessing that for you the glass isn't even half empty - it is totally empty and probably has a hole in it. It would be interesting to know how you feel about the Twins and the Vikings. Are they terrible too?
