Kahn spent his first year on the job trading
anyone in the organization in gym shorts and
now, suddenly, he is in love with the roster
and can't find a single trade that suits him.
Kind of makes you wonder, doesn't it?
Tomorrow should be interesting..........

I went to two games last season (thankfully I got both for free) and each time I saw Big Al do nothing but sulk. Really, do you want to build a team around a guy like that?

I know I wouldn't.

"Yes Ray, we definitely will be trading Al Jefferson... in fact, if Al is still on our roster Friday morning, we'll consider this draft a failure", said Kahn, "In fact, you can print that in your paper, but please don't tell Al."

DUH? Is there a reason that you feel David Kahn would tell you that he has a trade lined up for Jefferson or anybody else? This shows the stupidity that zaps credibility from reporters. Let's just pretend Kahn tells you he's got a trade lined up and it falls through... how will Big Al feel about that for the rest of his time in Minny?

What happened to the days of common sense reporting?

Kahn has no idea what the hell he's doing. The Wolves need to get Rambis to run the Basketball side of the team. This guy will mess up the draft and will mess up any trade this team makes.Any time a guy go out and draft 3 point guards when a team like the wolves have many other needs he show me how much poor basketball management skills he has. That's why the Wolves are so bad.

This tells you all you need to know about the NBA, the thugs in it, and its problems. In no other sport will you find NBA owners and GMs eager to move so many players. A players expiring contract is an asset, in all other sports it's dreaded because it usually involves a raise for the players, in the NBA it means you no longer have to pay a player to sit on the bench. Do the game and fans a favor, lock out these players until you get a good deal for the fans.

Once again, the Wolves seem adrift with no clear idea of where or how to steer the ship towards port. I like Al, but he can't guard any one, and he isn't a true center. Kahn also passed on trading Johnny Flynn, but at times, it looked to me, like Ramon Sessions outplayed Flynn. We've already wasted 4 first round picks last year (yes, Rubio will never play a quarter for the Wolves). We really can not afford more of the same.
