Ok...Tell me something why is that the NY media and the rest of the basketball media are so hard on the Knicks. Yeah they suck but they have more wins than 5 other teams. Why is it that they are considered so bad but these other teams are given a pass. I posted a long blog on another website about the travesty that is the Miami Heat. At least these guys are trying. Pat Riley has thrown in the towel. Where is the outrage over how bad they are. 11 wins. 11. Yet the Knicks are the scourge of the NBA and they and Pat are given a pass. Why cause it's Pat Riley. If it were reversed and Isiah was the coach of the Heat he would have been lynched by now. I just don't get it.

I'm tired of hearing about Isiah thinking about "what might have been" with a bounce here or there. Reality check... the east is terrible, and they still couldn't do anything. Imagine how bad their record would be if the eastern conference was even mediocre?

When you're team is lousy in a great division or conference, at least you can say the competition is stiff and the schedule tough. But these guys are the worst of the worst.

As a non-player, Isiah has failed and left a total mess everywhere he's been. This is no different. As a manager, the guy is a loser working for a fat slob of a loser who's a total moron and would be unemployed if it wasn't for daddy.

I agree with every word of this.

because the knicks are a joke and have been for the last few years since Isiah took over. they've been horribly mismanaged, have the highest payroll in the league yet are one of the worst teams. the players visibly quit out on the court and on some nights it looks like they don't even try. Eddy Curry consistently would get out hustled by a much smaller player for a rebound etc. they have a collection of shooters and offensive talent yet routinely churn out stinkfests on the court. their management, payroll, and their players and performance have turned this team into the laughingstock of the nba.

The reason the media is so tough on the Knicks is their high-priced roster of wannebe's, has-been's and never-will-be's assembled by their coach and president of b-ball operations, Isiah Thomas. This is basically the same team that Thomas gave Larry Br0wn, but when Br0wn complained they were a mismatched unit, Thomas proceeded to disparage Br0wn's hall of fame credentials, stating he could no longer relate to today's players. By making such a reference, Thomas basically stated he would be a better coach for the team he assembled, which has turned out to be nothing but BULL. The team is uninspired and poorly skilled. Add on the embarassing sexual harassment suit and everyone in NY is wondering how Thomas is hanging onto his job.

Me and you both see it this way. Its easy. Writers need something to feast on and the New York Knicks have been an easy target for years now. You are absolutely correct though. Bashing the Knicks is so old that its almost effortless now. It dosent take a smart person to see the Knicks stink and they are run poorly. At least the Knicks are still trying to win. Look at Miami like you said that team is horrendous! The 4 teams with worse records than the Knicks have long losing streaks. Duh! they are tanking to 1st pick in up coming draft. You are totally right though.

ONCE AGAIN:
Isiah pulls something right out of his "you know what" and freezes everyone in the interview room..........By the time they can check out his latest outlandish rubbish; he is off the podium; as usual.
The NYK were 14-28 before heading out west; and are 5-16 since being back from their trip....What's the big news???
BS as usual from him; and anyone and everyone that has anything to do with him.

Listen in the NBA they all have high payrolls so you can check that excuse at the door. Next Pat has made some dumb choices too see Jason Williams and Antoine Walker. He just got lucky the stupid people who are running the Suns BAILED HIM OUT by taking Shaq, his horrid contract, and his wounded body for Shawn Marion in a deal that made as much sense as Isiah giving Jerome James a 4 year contract. You mean to tell me if you gave Isiah the chance to trade Curry for Marion he wouldn't do it in a heart beat and that deal would still make more sense than trading for Shaq. Ok Listen. I am not an Isiah fan. I hope thye can his ass and I hate the players on this team with the exception of Lee, Crawford, Q, and Nate but that wasn't my point. My point is if you were to read an article about the Knicks you would think they have lost every game they played this year by a score of 200-2 with that 2 points being a gift by the other team throwing it in the Knicks basket on accident. There are worse teams and no one mentions them. Only how bad the Knicks are. Thats all.

"Don't count the chicks b4 the eggs have hatched." J. D. and I.T. have talked about this for a while. It's Isiah's idea to be closer to the action and give up the presidency to his longtime friend. Isiah needed some help to relieve him of the stress of holding two top positions in this massive organization. J.D. reluctantly agreed. So I think Donnie Walsh is a better idea than Kiki or Mullin. They have worked together in Indiana and their work was incomplete because of Larry Bird. Larry failed to take the team to the champiionship after that. So let's wait and see.

That's bull. The Knicks don't just have a high payroll - they have THE HIGHEST and are so far over the salary cap thanks largely to Isiah and his horrid signings (Jeffries, James, etc) and trades (routinely trading away expiring deals) that there is no hope of getting under the cap anytime soon. Yes other teams are bad, but the Heat won a championship 2 years ago, the Wolves were a powerhouse not too long ago. Those 4 of 5 teams who are worse off than the Knicks have stunk as long as the Knicks have - they haven't had a winning season in 8 years. Then their off court behavior is just as despicable when boneheads like Richardson trash talk with the league leading Celtics before a 50 point loss. The whole organization is a circus, it's not just that they lose but how badly the entire franchise is run which you can't say about the other 5 or so worse teams than the Knicks. Plus none of those teams have the collection of "talent" that the Knicks have.
