Hand a team of rookies over to a perenial-assistant-cum-intermi n coach desperate for a head coaching job, and this is what happens.

The Bulls are lost. They need experience on the bench or experience on the court. Right now, they have neither.

Send Boylan packing.

Let the rookies fly.

Forget about the playoffs. If you squeek into the bottom of the Eastern Conference, you have already lost.

The only reason gooden should be playing in front of tyrus is for showcasing purposes similar to how much Playing Time Ben Wallets received before he was shipped to Cleveland (i'll be at the game 2nite).

the bottomline is pete meyers, ron adams, and jim boylan should all be replaced. they have continually failed to develop chicago's young talent and all 3 of them have contributed to a losing atmosphere. it's not like any of them had impressive resumes in the first place.

when chicago finally gets a real head coach, he better get rid of the dead weight on chicago's coaching staff. and if paxson retains meyers or adams, or god forbid boylan, then paxson should be the next one lined up to get shipped out of town.

the bulls are continually failing to develop their young talent and it is just plain idiotic to continually give tyrus 7 or 9 minutes a night with foul trouble or not. he's been dicked around this year. who does john paxson and the bulls staff think they are? they think they're better than they really are. that's how the bulls ended up in this mess in the first place.

No wonder Skiles couldn't stand that guy. To think we could have traded him for Kevin Garnett this summer. Looks like the Bulls have to start over. Time to get Blawkhawks tickets.

Pete Meyers no one even understands what the guy says. Does he have pictures of Jerry or what.

Yup..... Thank You Tyrus you had been promised more min. with the trade and you performed well in the two games you got those mins. but 9 min in the last outing is pathetic Paxson/Bolyan.... The Suns getting shaq might not have helped much but at Least Steve Kerr is representing as GM with some effort

Tyrus Thomas is a bum...hey Tyrus, nobody wants you on the Bulls...all Bulls fans know acquiring you was a mistake...go clear your mind somewhere else...and try growing up after you try and develop a low-post game...

Thomas has shown he's a young guy who doesn't quite have it figured out on occasion the last 2 years......BUT! The young guy's have to play, the Vet Cast-off's recently added are just that and Boyan is trying to make a playoff spot that will do nothing for the Fan's. It will Continue to allow old Jerry to Win the Money Game, which has always been the #1 Game he likes to play with both of his Teams.........

...and the drama continues in Chi-town, while the Cavs keep winning.......I can't wait for tonight's game.......my prediction is that LeBron will 34/12/10 and Big Ben will have another double/double and 6-for-10 from the line......say goodnight, Bulls!

Going AWOL is immature - exactly what Thomas is on the court and, apparently, off. This isn't the coaching staff's fault - it's Thomas's fault. It doesn't matter how many minutes he's getting or not getting. He's paid a ton of money to be there, so be there - and if he's got some kind of problem, tell the team about it, don't just disappear.

The Bulls will be much better off not making the playoffs. an 8th seed means they get ousted by The Celts in the first rd. if they are a lottery team who knows? it opens up options and/or trade possibilities. That is if Paxson can pull the trigger on one that actually helps this team.

The kid is lost. He started showing signs of being a pretty good basketball player and all the sudden he was benched, again. He will be gone soon enough and he will succeed. If you think getting rid of Chandler was a mistake, just wait until you see what Thomas does in another uniform.

It's quite clear the Skiles style of coaching that still exists in Chicago cannot understand or relate to young players like Chandler and Thomas. Trade him to the superior West conference and watch him fly!

Go Lakers!

YOU HAVE TO GIVE HIM MORE MINUTES NOT JUST YANK HIM AFTER A MISTAKE, TRADE HIM AND HE WILL DO JUST FINE ELSEWHERE

I agree. The key is to lose games without being blatant about it like the Celtics and Grizzlies last year.

My sources tell me Tyrus was having medical treatment (vasectomy) but was rejected because he couldn't pass the pre-physical.

michael p coy hit the nail on the head. boylan is just playing the vets, screwing up the young bigs' development, at the expense of the fans and the young players because he wants to make the playoffs in order to save his own job! what the idiot boylan doesn't realize is you can win with Tyrus!

he benched Tyrus in the final minutes of the Cavs loss for Drew Gooden and what happened on the very next play after Tyrus was benched with 4 minutes to go? Bron sees Gooden in the post and attacks the basket then procedes to jam it home giving the Cavs all of the momentum in the world. thus, resulting in a 10-0 cavs run that sealed the victory for the rival Cavaliers.

If Boylan had Thomas in during the final minutes of the Cavs game, Tyrus would have atleast provided a defensive presence in the paint to deter easy dunks.

Tyrus being benched is an embarassment to the city of chicago, its' fans, and the organization. He deserves more than 10 minutes a game. I don't care if he fouls out, give tyrus a minimum of 25+ minutes a night and watch the wins roll in.

What was never out there? The Blackhawks or the trade for Garrnet? Could you write in english next time. As for Garrnet coming to Chicago that was a done deal until Minnesota said no because Skiles was riping Thomas and his lazy attitude to other coaches around the league. Which Skiles was right on.If that's not what you were talking about then learn to write so people know what to respond to. Thanks
