I love how people quote stats, but in the long run it does not completely tell the whole story. Like did Carlos play only 2 to 3 minutes for this game or that because a short period like that would completely throw off his numbers.Really?
So why we lose against New Orleans if Carlos was starting and Jameer not playing?
We can take a look on the stats:
Jameer is 45,9 FG%, while Carlos is 45 %, Jameer 39,1 % 3pts, while Carlos 34,7.
Arroyo only shot better on the free throw line.
So, if Nelson need to shot 98 for make 20 points, Arroyo need something like 103 shots to make the same.
But surely you would try to convince everyone that the writer is making an effort to move the rim when Carlos is shooting...
The numbers game really doesn't work because of the way SVG has been running this game.
What we really know is that this team does not have a great pg with a good backup.
Instead it has two fair pgs with Dooling who isn't a pg playing point.
