AM vs. Bird and Maravich, not

There is something about this kid that causes a lot of people, including me, to root for his early and continued success. Maybe it's because he looks so old-skewl and I'm so, well, old. Unfortunately, Bird avged 21 pts and 10 rebounds his first yr. AM is at 17 pts and rebounds are a pleasant surprise. Maravich was a shooting/passing wizard; AM is a first yr Harry Potter. Last game he hits his first 5 and we're thinking, "it's time!", then his shot goes away for the rest of the game. Maybe it's nerves or getting used to NBA phsicality, but right now I've given up on the Legend in the making thing and am just hoping for 2nd team NBA East Allstar one day, one day. He is averaging the most mins and pts of any rookie still, so keep hope alive!

U can't give up hope on a rookie (who by the way has amazing potential) this early in his career. he has already admitted the traveling is tough and he has butterflies. i highly doubt "The Stache" is going 2 let something this petty stop him from the success he is destin 2 have in this league. he has overcome alot through highschool and college ball he will get past it. its difficult because he doesn't want to disapoint any1 and then he hessitates to take over he'll be good that passion is not going 2 waist. U can't stop the Stache!!!
