Del Negro is being kind and diplomatic. The reason Sefalosha isn't playing because he does very little on offense- trying to take shots out of his range as well as not completing his layups properly. At least the other dufus, Tyrus Thomas, can stuff the ball and block shots. What Sefalosha does well is play the passing lanes and guard shorter players than him. So, that makes him the ninth or tenth guy into the game unless there is foul trouble or an injury.
He once showed promise but then plateaued and is probably happy to take a check and sit. SHould be back in the Euro league which is more open and suited to his style.

Thabo stuck on the bench? He shouldn't even be in the NBA. I realize Paxson is a horrible GM, but man, paying Thabo is pretty much just like throwing money out the window. The guy is pathetic, horrible jumpshot, zero ballhandling skills, I'm just stunned any in the NBA actually thought this guy had talent. He's just another in a long line of busts under the Bulls and under Paxson. Thabo is complete garbage and he should be thankful everyday that he gets a big paycheck to sit on an NBA bench. God knows he didn't earn it.

This must be the shortbus section...
Thabo should be a star in this league right now with all his talent. He's got to gain confidence...
He won't gain confidence sitting on the bench while selfish losers like Hughes and Gordon are on the playing floor...
There is no reason to play to win this year since there is not shot to win...
Play the guys that you can build on, like Sefalosha and Thomas...
I wouldn't object to Gordon, Hughes and Gooden being cut right now.

Sorry Nada...
Playing Sefalosha and Thomas at the same time, is like playing 5 on 3. Those 2- guys offer no scoring and would put even more pressure on Rose and Gordon to provide offense. Tabo and Thomas are BOTH problematic of the Bulls team. Too many guys with limited offensive ability. 1/2 the team is limited offensively(Thomas, Gray, Noah, Tabo, Ruffin. If Az/Phoenix. wants Tabo or Thomas, you can have them.

Both Thabo and Thomas can score. And they will. Just hang on a bit longer.

I'm totally on your side Nada Surf.. I grew up playing with Thabo in Switzerland and year after year he developped his game amazingly. Dude needs playing time to build self confidence though.. By the way, his stats are more than correct considering his playing minutes.. The bulls need strong defense and run and gun transition. Thabo and Thomas can bring that, as blocks and steals often lead to a fast break..

And, well, VDN was hired to developp a new paced basketball game around Mister Rose.. not a one on one silly shots by Larry or BG..

What annoys me most is that the last game Thabo has played in was against Golden State and he had an excellent game.. And then.. Doghouse... Thank you Vinny Del Negro, for contributing to develop young talents along with Rose..

If the bulls trade thabo or Thomas, they would do a great mistake... trade Noc, Hughes, Gordon, Noah, but pleaaaase not #2 or #24..

Finally!
An intelligent fan here!
How anyone can look at Thabo's game and see nothing is beyond me.
Clearly, the kid needs confidence, but it is time he steps it up himself.
