Rose . . . this guy is gonna turn out to be a bust as long as he plays with the Bulls. If you like local talent, watch prep basketball. It's much more entertaining.

Pax should get rid of his big men and get more guards. If he is going to have about 6 guards on the team already, he might as well go all out and get a whole team full of guards. Now that I would watch!

Vinnie (Boom-Batz) del Negro is inexperienced and clueless....

He starts Capt Klank Hinrich who is not a leader and not a NBA starter.
Klank belongs glued to the bench, he is a inconsistent streak shooter and a clock eater.....tooooo slow........

The other guards need all the time possible to ready for the regular season.Every one with a brain knows that Klank Hinrich is as good as he will ever be.....not good enough.

In the MJ era, we could just assume the winning scores would be just opposite as they are so far in "pre-season". Let's retool the past. Chandler at Center Artest and Deng at forwards,(T.Thomas and Nocioni off the bench), guards,???? What a mumbo jumbo.
Hello, Rose was No. 1 pick. No. 1. Talking about the great picks through the years. Not the Bulls No. 1 but the OVERALL No. 1 pick. Its like voting for Ron Santo as a hall of famer. A cubs hall of famer, no problem, but an MLB hall-of-famer? Come on. And this is from a life-long Cubs fan!
Oh yes, the pick-up team.. Ben (no shoot no shot) Wallce at small Center, Iowa State dude chosen no. 5th over all at foreward, Tracy King (2 rebounds, 300 lbs) at the other "power forward", and I won't even get nasty about the guards.
Hey bulls, there's history in this city. How about putting in extra hours to come up with a winning formula that we can watch, that we can even look forward to with pride.
Bears are doing it. You should too. The Cubs and White Sox at least won their divisions.

it looks like the bulls have no clue when dribble dribble clank heinrich is on the floor with rose. bulls need to pkg heinrich, gunner gordon, and noseeoni so the others can play with more synergy and chemistry, otherwise theys a ship lost at sea.

Go back 12 months, and i'd say the reports were pretty much the same as this report. Injuries kept the team from developing any sort of preseason rhythm, and more intensity was needed. If Skiles couldn't entice the 48 minutes of effort required to give themselves a chance, i really don't like the odds of a rookie H.C. being able to.

Another thing, if the intention is to start Rose and Hinrich together, could someone help explain why, the only two which are considered primarily the PG's would play side by side? Who's supposed to be the backup PG? Hinrich is definitely a better defensive player than Gordon, and probably Hughes; however, he's still way too slow, and short to be guarding most of the leagues starting 2 guards. I don't know folks; hopefully i'm wrong, but i think last seasons 33 wins are going to seem like a good season, compared to what we're going to see this year.

I honestly did not see either game (No. 2 wasn't on tv, I searched), but my initial opinion of the team is that it's too "guardie." Not enough big men down low. The lineup should be:

Rose (The sooner he learns pick and roll...)
Hughes (gotta commit to D)
Noah (gotta be Rodman like on boards)
Gooden (pick and roll compliment)
Deng (just slash, baby)

Bench: Hinrich, Gordon, Thomas, Nocioni and Gray

That rotation needs to be established now during preseason, and not wait 2 months into the season ala Skiles. At least the bench players all have starting experience and may actually be better collectively than most other team's benches.

Never too early to assess a team already into it's 2nd pre-season game.

Nice logo, by the way.

Wow! Are we going to have to go through another year of watching the extremely ineffective skirt hinrich? Sefolosha should be getting that playing time instead of skirt. Although skirt hinrich has been in the league for 6 or 7 years, he has never been held accountable by the media at any time for his obvious lack of skills. Derrick Rose is a rookie and these are only pre-season games, but yet some jerk media creeps are implying that Rose isn't ready for the NBA. If paxson had any sense, he'd trade hinrich, nocioni and hughes right off the bat. Unless they get rid of some of that dead weight, the Bulls may not win 30 games this season. Fasten your seat belts fans because the tandem of del negro & paxson looks awfully scary to me.

Hinrich was drafted in 2003...so this would be his 5th year. I agree that Hinrich should be coming off the bench and the Bulls also need to quit promoting him as the face of the franchise. Bulls looked good today and the practice game was exciting. I hope it means this season is different then last.

look at the heat o-2,look at OJ 5 for 17 for 12 points. we are fine, derrick will turn it up when the season began. Hinrich will be the backup. He is only playing for now because of ben and his toe. derrick will be a all star this year (bulls 49-49). just need some time.

Look, the Bulls lost their second preseason game because they are a young team with a bunch of developing players. Rose is new to the NBA and is adjusting from the college level into the professional level - more games, more talent, more expectations. Hinrich is adjusting to his move to the SG position...If one of KU's best players can't adjust quickly from being a normal sized 1 guard to an undersized 2 guard, I defy anyone to be able to. But, I think he will learn how to get good shots off soon and he proved in the 06-07 playoffs that he has the potential to play lockdown defense. Deng needs to take a deep breath, relax, stop forcing bad shots, and act like he deserves to be the Bull's highest paid player. Gooden needs to keep up the tenacity and STOP GETTING HURT. And at the C position...well, I think Gray is showing great potential, but I also think a Hughes for Brad Miller trade could do miracles for the Bulls.
