There is only one guy Paxson will listen to about this team and he is Derrick Rose. I know Rose is a rookie and doesn't seem like your typical loud mouth superstar but he needs to be. Rose needs to goto paxson and or Reinsdorf and demand things change , otherwise 3 or 4 years from he could tell the bulls to shove it and bolt just like lebron , wade and bosh are probally going to do in 2010. Blow the team up now and get players who complment Rose.

Paxson....for the love of God, please rid us of Hughes, Noah, Thomas, Gray, Gooden, Gordon, Hinrich, Deng and Sefolosha. You would be better off starting Nocioni, Hunter, Rose, Benny the Bull, and a random fan. Paxson created this mess, he should be held accountable. Del Negro should not be a head coach (he resembled Lovie "deer in the headlights" Smith last night).

Reinsdorf, you also suck! You cheap tightwad, loser. If it wasn't for Michael Jordan and Phil Jackson, you never would have won six championships. You are a pathetic, money-grubbing LOSER!!!

I've been a blazer fan since I was a kid. I grew up in Oregon. everytime I see the Bulls uniform, the image of Jordan hitting an impossible shot over Cliff Robinson and then giving a "no big deal" shrug haunts me

Blazers might me good, but you guys have owned us for a long time and your time will come again.

It was just one game. Not even a playoff game. The only ring PDX has is from 1977! how many do you guys have? Chin up!

This whole team is trash. Rose is the only asset. Paxon, I hate to say it but you deserve to be fired. This is your team of soft head cases.

I read somewhere that Chris Kaman of the Clippers is available because they have Camby. Paxson needs to go after him now if he is. Noah and TT Boy are terrible.

But seriously KC, what I just read did not reflect the game I watched last night. Yes you mentioned the score, but you did not even come close to describing the debacle that took place. If you can not report what really happened than I have no use for reading taling points from an obvious company man. I thought Sam Smith was the one working for the Bulls now?

U guys are funny. U actually expect Paxson, who created this nonsense 2 fix it? Get real. Paxson does NOT have NBA GM skills. The guy is living off of a couple of jumpshots he made 15 years ago.

PLEASSE MR PAXON FIND SOMEONE TO REPLACE NOAH, AS HE REMINDS ME OF A HOCKEY TERM." WHEN HE IS IN WE ARE PLAYING A MAN SHORT" IT WOULD BE NICE TO FIND ANY YMCA PLAYER OF SIZE THAT CAN REBOUND ABIT, SCORE ABIT, NOT COMMIT SILLY FOULS, AND BE FOCUSED ON THE GAME. 2ND PLEASSE, ADMIT YOUR ONE OF MANY DRAFT PICK MISTAKES, AND JUST FIND SOME AVERAGE PLAYERS.

I can't really comment on the game last night as I could only stomach about 4 minutes of it, but I will agree with most here that Pax's time has come and gone as a GM.

I did admire him as a player and I think he successfully handled his initial mandate as a GM -- transform the team from a bunch of me-first, lazy ballers (the E-Rob/Jamal era) into a hard-working, selfless, defense-first team. Dump the athletes and bring in the gym rats.

It worked -- for a season or two. But even gym rats want to get paid. And all that sacrifice and team-first passing and defensive rotations? Well, that only got you into the $50 million club, not the $70 million club. Gotta get my minutes. Gotta get my touches. Gotta get my stats up.

With selfishness comes a lack of trust. And the flaws in Pax's design begin to show.

Mix in the Wallace signing, the poor drafts, and his regime's ultimately fatal decision to deal for Thomas, and you have a team with no apparent direction or hope.

You have jump shooters who can't shoot. Big guys who are soft, slow, poorly-conditioned or just overwhelmed. And one crap veteran who can't play well in the limited minutes he's given, even though he hasn't earned those additional minutes because he's, you know, crap.

Sorry Pax. You had good intentions. And we'll always have good memories of your playing days and contributions to the Bulls. But it's time to close this chapter of your career. It's not working and it's time for you to go.

Noah always talks a great game. Play harder?? He gets beat up and down the court on most possessions - and is never in good rebounding position, letting guys walk right past him for rebounds. He looks like a clown flopping up and down the court.

Kirk Hinrich is killing this team. As soon as he is gone, watch this team take off!!! Oh, wait...

BG should be starting, the bulls need his offense in early in the game. He's a superstar, I can't believe they bring him off of the bench. Think how good they'd be if he were able to get them going in the first quarter!!! Oh, wait...

Tyrus Thomas is a dominant force. Boylan/Skiles were holding him down, messing with his head, if only they'd give him consistent minutes, he'd show everybody how good he is!!!! Oh, wait...

It's funny. Pax fired Floyd because he was tired of amateur hour and this off season he promised an experienced coach who would resonate with the fans yet he picked Tim Floyd Jr. As Bill Simmons points out, Del Negro looks like Shooter when he was forced to coach in Hoosiers.

Glad we passed on D'Antoni, Avery Johnson, and a lot of good coaches for Vinny. Yesterday on NBA TV Ben Gordon said that Vinny had a lot to learn. Agreed.

Can we just admit we made a mistake and put Harris or Bickerstaff in charge for the rest of the season?

Thomas and Noah will eventually 'get it' and will be valuable players for a long time to come.

What seems to be missing is the team leader who isn't afraid to kick some butt to get everybody on the same page. The head coach is not necessarily the person to do that. It was supposed to have been Ben Wallace but that didn't work.

Paxson is horrible as GM.

Where is the bozo who wrote here yesterday that we were all wrong to criticize Paxson?

Paxson is so terrified of making a mistake that he holds onto his draft picks until after they've been exposed and no longer have any value. Very few of the players have any value anymore.

Good job, Pax!

Pax, do the honorable thing and just resign. You have performed poorly and now it will take many MORE years to undo this mess. Show some class and step down.

Floyd is ten times the coach Del Negro will ever be. Bet Bulls fans never thought they would hear that.

Message to Noah:
Cut that mop, grow up, get in basketball shape and learn how to play the game. You're not at Florida anymore. You're expected to play like an NBA big man.

Why does Paxson still have a job? The signing of Ben Wallace and letting Tyson Chandler go, drafting Tyrus Thomas (actually trading LaMarcus Aldridge for him) and Joakim Noah, these are good moves? I'm not sure that I could have done any better, but I don't think I could have done much worse than Paxson. The thing in my favor is that I would have done it for less money and passed the savings on to you, the fans.
