I tried writing on Full Court Press, but the darn thing/blog isn't working. If there is a logjam at guard my solution would be this, find a coach with balls enough to play the best players he feels he has and rotate those few rather than take into account how much money somebody makes. Larry Hughes is not a part of the Bulls future, and if they want people to desire him in a trade for something valuable think again. Larry's best days are clearly behind him. Who wants to pay $12 Mill a year for a guy who can't shoot. Too much money for somebody to play solid D, and ocassionally have a scoring night off the bench albeit with a low field goal percentage. Thabo was a high pick likewise Thomas. Are these high draft picks just for fun? If not, than use the time on the court to see if these players can blossom once and for all. The Bulls should rotate Rose/Hinrich, with Kirk possibly playing some alongside Rose as a two, and Thabo Sefelosha should see major minutes at the two with Ben subbing for him. That's it. I don't give a darn what Larry Hughes thinks or says about it he should play very limited minutes period unless they go with a small, lightning fastbreak unit sometimes with Rose, Hughes, and Thabo at the four; otherwise keep Larry out of Thabo's way. Same goes for Tyrus Thomas; he has got to start, and see major minutes this year to find out if he is going to be a good player or not. Let Gooden back him up, and also use Gooden's versatility to back up Noah at the center position where he can use a deadly short/mid range jumper with offsetting post moves. Gray will have to play third fiddle on center depth chart until he can play some defense without getting three fouls in as many minutes.

Resigning Gordon was not a good move. He thinks he's Iverson and wants to be the highest paid player on the team just because of his point total? Basketball is way more about points there BG. He's by far the WORST defender out of all those guards. All he does is shoot for a mediocre percentage and take a glut of shots then complain when he's not starting. At least Iverson could play the point and get some assists, his career average is like 7.2 or something and he plays his heart out every night. BG plays hard on OFFENSE. rarely on defense. Let him walk next year and trade Hinrich because he's the better guard outside of Rose but it looks like Del Negro will uyse Hughes, Gordon and Thabo more. Hinrich is a winner, a scrappy defensive player who can shoot the rock. Trade him to a winner, or a team on the rise where he can play and show off his talents. Remember, he was 1 of the best Point Guards in the East 2 years ago and he was a 2nd team all defense, I'm sure a number of teams would love to have him

Um, yeah...so Pax basically said Kirk's gone next year. Good. I like Kirk, but why this franchise deems him, of all people, untouchable, is beyond my knowledge. I think he'll be valuable this year in that, with tendonitis concerns for Rose, we'll definitely need another point, but I think over time, it'll probably be Derrick and Thabo in the backcourt...Ben should really just accept that he is one of the best sixth men in the league.

the bulls have no scoring outside of Gordon, there is no other go to scorer on the team. the bulls game plan... try to keep it within 15 then dust off Gordon and hope he gets hot. great plan.

Captain Klank Hinrich is not a leader and he is tooooooooo slow to start in the NBA. Paxson is clueless.......

Klank Hinrich is a circle dribbling clock eater who can't get by anyone to get to the rim... He is a career inconsistent (Klank) shooter and needs to be traded asap..........

im not one to always look on the bad side of things like 90% of the people on here but.......pax wants everyone to play together yet half the roster is guards who are gonna b@#ch and moan all year about it.im pretty sure you could find some team to take some of our guys.you might not get what you want for them but sometimes minus = plus.if anything you keep kirk for his D off the bench bottom line!!!!!

Ha yeah good luck with that dickhead you have 3-4 quality guards on the bench fighting for minutes hmmmm not a smart decision by Paxson not to trade at least one of them to address a weakness at the 4-5.Bulls are going to suck this year ladies and gentlemen.Paxson may as well place his head on a silver platter,Del Negro first year as coach come on,Bulls back in the lottery mark it down.
