Stick a fork in Paxson, he is done. I really wanted to see him succeed, but he's done a bad job of assembling a team and now has hired a guy who doesn't know how to coach.

Paxson should step down and coach these losers since he put them together. It's all on him now. He has had enough time to right this ship and hasnt been able to do it.

Only moves that you really can call bad (in hindsight) are 1>not keeping J.R. Smith (who Pax gave away for nothing) and letting Tyson go because Scott didn't like him and then firing Scott soon there after. Tyrus and even Noah can still pan out given time to develope. Every other move is with a grain of salt. Not everyone was sold on Gasol, Kobe wasn't coming, and pretty much everybody wanted Big Ben gone for anybody, even a Larry Hughs.Outside of his blind loalty to his "core", he's done an ok job. Not the best, but not Jerry Kruase either.

Question -

Could it be that the Bulls players are just not very smart?

They seem to have talent but, also, that they haven't learned much about the game.

bibby, age 60, scores 31 points. every opposing guard seems to have a career night against the bulls guards, no matter how old they are. Can we have one bulls point guard play some defense, please.

Why are people pulling for this Hughes for Simmons deal? This deal makes no sense!!! John Paxson is working a deal to dump contracts instead of deals that would improve this team. The Bulls have lost three in a row with Hughes on the bench! Is he the problem? Sure bring in another wing player that has started 37 of 38 games, making $9-$10 million a year, averaging 7.8pts a game! Doesn't take a genius to see that this team is poorly constructed! Get over the love affair with the guys you drafted Pax and make a dam move that will improve this team!!!

“Catch this!”

The only silver lining in the (potential) Simmons deal is that he's still young. He has some athleticism but his game is still raw.

On a bad note, he's been on 3 or 4 teams since being drafted as well as being injured. What exactly are the Bulls getting? He's another 6'1" to 6'9" player that the Bulls already have a glutten of. Why do they need another? What the hell is Paxson doing? Does he even know?

I really am trying to support Pax but I can't do it much longer at this rate. Mike didn't mention not keeping the more polished Aldrige instead of Mr potential TT when Aldrige was a more pressing need. I am not a fan of overseas guards who can't shoot or dribble like Thabo. It can't be that hard to bring in a serviceable big man. While we play the character game, other teams bring the Zach Randolphs, Rasheed Wallaces or Jermaine O'Neals. A good big man would have made a huge difference the past couple of seasons and the current one. Plus the Bulls teams of the lastt few seasons can't get away from silly turnovers. It is maddening to watch them perennially rank at the bottom of the league with tunrovers. Since the "coaching" staff is now committed to a non defense philosophy and a stupid D'Antoni lite offense, this is not going to be a season where we can look forward to improvement from this team. If the hawks can put together a decent team and we can't, then we should be very afraid for basketball in this city.

You can pay a fortune for an established big, such as they did with Wallace, and have him underperform, or you can draft a few bigs with potential, such as Thomas and Noah, and hope they develop.

The Bulls did both. Neither worked out. I'm starting to agree with you posters who want to get rid of Paxson. Why shouldn't we have a guy like Bynum, Stoudamire, Howard or Horford?

As long as the slow over rated clock eater, the Kapt of Klank Hinrich figures in the Bulls plans, you can be assured that this team will never progress. He is a carreer inconsistent shooter and decision maker.

Klank Hinrich is the core of the problem. He is over paid and his performace will only get worse.

Fragile Deng is not an All-Star he just barely average when he is not hurt!

People complain about Hughes'shooting
but they don't see the Nocioni's lame shooting and his crying to the ref on every call.

Nocioni & No-Shot Noah are cancers on this team..........

Pax is beyond hope. Hinrich, Deng and Nocioni the over rated rotten core..No-Shot is a CBA player!!!!

Face the facts the Bulls are in a bad loop of Paxsons design with no way out. It's time for new ideas and direction that Paxson is incapable of providing. For what it is worth they need to ride out this disasterous season and make a complete change in managment prior to the draft.

It's over Johnny!
