Don't worry Calhoun/UConn bashers. Only 1 of 65 win, so the odds are you will be able to spout your negativity. After all, we want nothing in CT except social programs for the less fortunate who are driving around in their late model luxuary cars all day.

Coach Calhoun,You will win the whole tournament if you let Thabeet post up and send him the ball in the middle, automatic points and automatic fouls, also Coach you must play defense....P.S. you earned every dime since you entered UCONN,dont let no sorry reporter FOUL you again!

Great teams find ways to win with injuries. Now teach Thabeet to recognize that he's 7'4" and to stop putting the ball on the floor. Just dunk it you idiot!

I would like to see Miss State advance and play UConn in the Sweet 16. A battle between the top two shot blockers in the nation would be fun.

However, look out for Purdue. They are healthy and a threat. I'm predicting us to bow out in the Sweet 16 to either Purdue or Washington. However, don't be shocked to see Texas A&M pull off the upset.

If this team can play like they did against Marquette during the regular season (w/o Dyson), there is no reason they can't make it to the Elite 8. They were given a gift with an easy bracket.

The Dyson factor looms...but who would have predicted the Austrie factor. His 2 3's against Syracuse may have woken him.
"HE" is the missing ingredient. The rest of the team is great 8 caliber...if Austrie can lift his confidence there is no team they can't beat on any given day.

Basketball is not about playing 5 or 6 members of a team and the recent loses point that up. Having depth can provide BIG rewards come injury time or overtime.

When up by 10, 15 points, use that time to gain bench experience instead of piling it on. Come tournament time, a deep bench will pay huge dividends.

Same applies to the "girls" team.

How right you are! No perimeter game - 3pt shooting less than 25%, free throw % not adequate, 57% against Syracuse and the 4 games that they lost average was 61%; mental errors-turnovers; and no pure outside clutch shooter. A team could play a 1-4 zone against U. Conn and let them shoot 3's all day!

Really? That means BYU will suddenly recruit athleticism or A&M will miraculously start playing defense, or Purdue will go 12-20 from 3-land, or Washington will get 25 and 15 from Brockman - if they beat Miss State, who got hot one time all season?

Fact is, UConn is in as good a spot as they could have ever hoped post-Dyson. Let the chips fall where they may, and who knows, anything can happen in March.

Calhoun may agree with you. Heard him say something about starting Austrie to build his confidence.

Of course, with Calhoun, you can never be sure whether or not he's being sarcastic...
