Just another gangsta from the hood who has no concern for public safety, or laws, or anything else. Expulsion is (finally) in order here - despite the 12.4 game point average.

You've never driven over the speed limit, JBC? I'd be willing to wager that you've driven after drinking, too.

I'm thankful that the few traffic tickets I have received over the years are not newsworthy..........and I wonder why these traffic tickets are newsworthy?

Police departments across Connecticut issue hundreds or tickets for motor vehicle violations each day. Somehow, the Courant decides that the only one the publioc should know about is the one issued to AJ. This is a smear job, nothing more.

I'd love to see the Courant write a front page article everytime one of its employees gets a ticket. How about it?

This kid certainly lives dangerously. He'll probably be in jail before he gets into the NBA.

Driving with a suspended license is OK by DumbideaDeyector ?

With that attitude I hope you or yours are hit by an unlicensed and uninsured driver - then we may hear a slightly different tune.

I had 5 traffic tickets when I was in college out of state...never had one in this state...or any since I have been out of college...knock on wood...by the way I also drank a lot, fooled around with girls, smoked illegal substances, listened to rap music...now I am married, go to work everyday, do none of the above behavior...

mike anthony,

i know you may not know, but if you read this and have any more info could you please share it with us. We'd like the reassurance to know that AJ wont miss any time and this won't affect his season. Thanks!

Why would he be suspended for a minor traffic violation?

My girlfriend was pulled over for a similar reason. All she did was finish up her paper work that she needed to and went to court. They said "thanks" and off she went.

.... according to some people above that proves she's a gangster and is going to end up in jail someday...

Smart people.

you got it brother - these people are ridiculous. if youve ever driven around uconn campus or any of the surrounding towns you would know that cops and cows outnumber citizens by a 5 to 1 margin. THOUSANDS of tickets are handed out by these cops every month and this is just a smear job by the courant.

I was not saying my behavior was good. Or that we should not expect better. Or that I will not tell my kids not avoid these things. Or that we should excuse it. Just stop spinning to be such a major thing that a Uconn player, or Michael Phelps acts like a college age person acts, unless you are ready to address the broader issues that 75% of college students act this way. By the way, read accounts from college students in the 1200s A.D. and they tell of how they drank a lot, slept around, got into fights with towns people, wasted their parents money and skipped classes. I do applaud the rare young adult who acts better than this. Just please stop the self-righteous act about these kids being role models. Or the racial overtones about hoods. AJ price is flawed I get it. He is a college student, I get it. But he in fact does not get away with more things because he is far more scrutinized than average white Joe Public are.

I hope that he is better at beating the ticket than beating Pittsburgh. AJ has quite a rep for folding when in/on the Court.

Mike; Was it really neccessary to recap all of Price's problems over the past four years?
