We're going inside of ‘em, we're going outside of ‘em -- inside of ‘em! outside of ‘em!-- and when we get them on the run once, we're going to keep ‘em on the run.
And we're not going to pass unless their defender comes up too close. But don't forget, men -- we're gonna get ‘em on the run, we're gonna go, go, go, go!-- and we aren't going to stop until we make that basket!
And don't forget, men -- today is the day we're gonna win. They can't lick us -- and that's how it goes... The first starters -- go in there and fight, fight, fight, fight, fight! What do you say, men!

Good luck tonight guys. I can't wait for Mondays national title game. The Huskies have never lost a final four or title game. Calhoun and the gritty Huskies will fight through it all they way.

Any one of the following will guarantee a UConn victory:

1) Thabeet stays out of foul trouble
2) Austrie hits 2 3's
3) Price scores at least 20
4) Digger Phelps picks Michigan State

Common Sense from Manchester you are very wise in ways of science.

1. Agreed: Thabeet needs to not commit fouls outside the paint (he gets 75% of his fouls reaching in or with his legs covering outside the paint). Which could happen if he is covering Suton.
2. Agreed: Austrie (or Walker/Robinson) hitting threes changes the game because it opens up drives for Price/Walker and easier entry passes to Adrian/Thabeet
3. Diagreed: Price could score over 20 and they lose. The real issue is Price getting shots off the ball and by driving forward not side to side.
4. Agreed: Don't worry Digger Phelps will always go against Uconn.
5. I thing you forgot the other two keys
A. Robinson continues to play inside and use curl plays and not revert to the hanging outside and doing nothing.
B. They don't shoot free throws as they did in the last Pitt game and the Cuse game.

Tonight should be a monster game. I certainly hope UConn goes through to Monday night, because it will be a really super game when North Carolina also gets there. I am not expecting to get to work on time Tuesday morning ....

To Mike_from_Connecticut: Thanks for laying off of the Tennessee sports site for a while. The comments you have posted down there lately have been pretty normal. And, Good Luck to your Lady Huskies on Tuesday night.

What do I say? WRONG! Has Calhoun coached his last game? Maybe not, but savor this game. Once the sanctions kick in next year UConn will be vying for the NIT title (or will they be barred from that too??)

You left out the assault and DWI charges.

The only reason UConn even got to this tournament is because Miles violated the restraining order and was expelled BEFORE he played. Otherwise they would eventually have every win in which he played due to recruiting violations.

Calhoun is doing a better job of recruiting for CT State Corrections Department than the University of Connecticut!!
