Grumpy Greinke? Royals Ace Not Sure He Wants to Stay in KC

Full story: Fox4KC

Zack Greinke says he does not necessarily want out of Kansas City. But the 2009 AL Cy Young Award winner said he doesn't expect the Royals to be ready to compete for a pennant by 2012, when his contract runs out.

Why would he want to stay in KC? It's obvious the Royals don't care about winning. Let him go somewhere else where they take it seriously.

Zack, don't waste your time and talent in KC. The city has no direction for any championship and they keep blowing sunshine up the fans butts to get their dumb A## in the stands. Go and get some big money somewhere else, because KC has none.

Why Would Greinke Want to Stay With a Team Who's Owner is More Concerned About Being Profitable than Winning the Pennant...And if Things Continue And the Fans Stop Going to the Games...Then Guess What...The Team Isn't Even Going to Be Profitable...Here is a Thought, Simple Economics...Build a Winning Team...the Fans and the Profit Will Follow...It's a Proven Fact in KC...More Wins = More Fans...

It's not like Zack has had that great of an impact either. He's had several outings that he's been hammered...one of which he was lucky enough to win.

If he wants out...then let's trade him. If not, then he should shut up and play!

It's obvious that you are one of those, one of those boneheads that enjoy going to watch these clowns, right? You fans are suckers! Mr Glass is soaking up your money and laughing his butt off! Don't you get it yet? The Royals suck!

Royals fan since they started and a big fan of Greinke's. I don't blame him for speaking out. He's only got one career and with the current management of royals I can see how he's beginning to question things. I'd be broken hearted if he left after 2012 but I wouldn't blame him at all.

that's what he gets for coming here in the first place. did he not do any research before accepting a contract with the KC Royals? it's obvious he didn't. let him go and take his skills somewhere where he can make something of himself and money to go with it. thanks for your time G
