It is tedious to hear these same cliches month after month. Stop making excuses. The only ones who belive them are Fred and Jeff Wilpon.

Bottom line- there is a talent problem on this team. It does not matter how good a hitter Alou is if he does not play. It does not matter how good Castro is as a backup if he is on the DL twice a year. Anderson, Easley, Tatis, Chavez, these are below average major league players. Castillo is grossly overpaid for his abilities. And now we either eat it or are stuck with it. People are saying that Valentin is getting closer. Are you kidding me? He is washed up and will get hurt again just as sure as Alou will. There is way too much mediocrity on this team, for the money spent.. That is on Omar, not Willie.

The 2007-2008 are about as competent, accountable, and relevant as me. We also get rich off of the rubes. Just wait for the CitiField scheme...Dick's bought shares in that already, and he's good at making money off of misery.

The Mets are a third rate team. You could take that to the bank. Omar has made a mess and spent 150 million. Another typical year in Queens. Keep those Met fans away from tall buildings and bridges. NEVERMIND!

Yankees pitching sucks and their stars are over the hill and grossly overpaid.. but can't wait till they come to Shea for some more batting practice against 'aces' Wang and Pettite.. taking that to the bank as well..

I agree about the Met pitching, but I was responding to this jerk of a yankee fan with the same rationale.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Scorpio

If you're feeling brave enough, you should get out all your receipts`, and then tot up how much you've spent this month. Or don't you have the courage to do so? It will be far better to know the truth than to pretend that everything's all right. But don't let it spoil what promises to be a delightfully enjoyable and rather emotional day.
