Glad the Sox dumped him when they did. All you looney Dodger fans can deal with his antics now.

Manny should have known better. Any drug an baseball player takes for a medical condition is always going to up for review with the MLB league. Duh! I'd hate to see my 8 year old newphew's face when his mother tells him that his idol Manny is now on 50 day suspension. The Dodger's will win without Manny. Go Dodgers!!

It sucks because of what he has meant to the Dodgers, and how he changed the atmosphere at dodger Stadium.

But many people don't realize the Dodgers have a player on their roster, Guillermo Mota, that missed the first 50 games of the season two year's ago.

The Phillies have a pitcher that helped them beat the Dodgers in the playoffs, and win a world series, J.C. Romero, that is sitting out the first 50 games this year.

I'm not equating those two player's abilities or importance to the whole of baseball to Manny Ramirez, but what they were guilty of is exactly the same.

It hurts but, the rest of the guys will have to step up now and take over until Manny get's back. This is not only bad for the Dodgers but for the whole major leagues. Manny put people into the seats.

As even Manny himself likes to say, "This is just Manny being Manny".

More than anything it really sets a poor example for kids. Their idol is a doper.

I'm disappointed, but not shocked. He'll pay millions this year in lost salary and in the future in smaller contracts and his legacy will be tainted. The fact that he was using a ladies'hormone to jump start his dead nutsack won't help him live this down either.

But what burns me is David Ortiz now saying the Dodgers' home win streak should have an asterisk. Oh, really! Not only does Ortiz perfectly fit the profile of a juicer, but what about those 2 titles he won with Manny? The only 2 BoSox titles since people stopped travelling around town in buggies and horseback. Crushing my Angels hopes along the way?!?!?!!?

The tainted era continues until MLB follows rigid Olympic testing standards. I assume most get away with whatever they can (perfectly matching my expectations of most corporations).

I love it! "I'm back......." after he held his team and his fans at bay to get some rediculous amount of money.....for playing baseball!
While I love the game, I think these guys are making way too much money.....especially at a time when its incredibly expensive to take the kids to a game and people are losing their jobs left and right.
When Manny starts worrying about my career and my ability to feed and care for my family, then I'll start caring about what he is doing. Maybe within that 50 game suspension he can get a haircut and look like a respectable ball player.

He needs to go after the suspension.
That's why he was havin his tantrums in BoSTOn a little food down.

People say it wasn't steroids it was a band substence women hormones come on know what's he trien to do have a F U C K E N BABY.
They save $7.8 million for the suspension but spent $10.5 million on t-shirts and renaming left field to "MANNYROIDS".

How stupid does McCourt feel know $25 million on a roider.

Don't worry. Manny won't be suspended. They will lift the ban if it truly is a medical drug for impotence and other sexual related problems. I mean for crying out loud, if a player had surgery and they tested him, he would test positive for morphine, codine and vicadin. Manny will be back shortly and be hitting those homeruns.

Barry has NEVER come clean and has lied to the grand jury, fans, and MLB....He's a scumbag, lier and a crook. That is different than a guy who came clean before the MLB and the Dodgers made a statement.

I cant believe this is one of the biggest stories in the news, why is everybody surprised ? Most of the athletes that are that much better are on drugs and we all know it. The thing that shocks me is that a majority of people think that this kind of behavior is acceptable and they want to make excuses for it. I am an old man but I remember when America had morals and ethics. Now it is win, win, win nothing else matters. we are teaching the next generation that cheating is not only OK but if you don't you might have to work for a living. What a shame America. Baseball banned Pete Rose for life and they should do the same to manny the druggy !!!!!!!!!!
