Shocking and upsetting. I wonder if the players' union could appear on behalf of Manny on the grounds of the substance found was a prescribed medication.

I can hear all those Giants fans snickering away, myself being one of the throng who would chant "Baroid" to Bonds back in the day. This hurts, Manny is a loveable character and a great hitter who was leading the Dodgers to great things this year. But the substance he was caught with was not some cough syrup technicality, it is used to get testosterone back on a normal cycle after a regimen of steroid use. Guess we will see what the Dodgers young hitters are made of without Manny's bat to protect them, and if Manny will be able to produce when he returns in July sans supplemental help (presumadely). Guess the lesson of Lyle Alzado was lost on way too many pro athletes.

Fortunately, I was lucky enough to be at the game last night and enjoyed seeing the team make history. Manny is an electrifying player and truly brings the Dodgers up a notch. Anyway, the drug in question is also used to treat ED, which Manny understandably wouldn't want publicized...Why he didn't use Viagra or Cialis? And who the heck didn't check the list of banned substances before he took that stuff? I mean, I half expected him to test positive for pot, but for a gonadotropin? Bonds was and is dirty, but Manny has a good opportunity to make a positive out of this disappointing situation. He'll be back: It's "hard" to keep a good "Manny" down. LOL

All associated with baseball have ruined the game! Any team with players on the dope or the doping related stuff should forfeit every game they won up to that point! All teams including the Yankees and Selig's Brewers included! Teams should be fined hefty amounts then donated to Little Leagues. Teams with repeat offenders should be given the death penalty just as NCAA teams can be given the death penalty!Every player found doping as a member of the Players Union should result in the Union paying a hefty fine then donated to drug abuse centers. Any player caught doping should be banned forever from the hall and removed from consideration for any position related to baseball including broadcasting, endorsing or sponsering anything related to the game. College teams with players caught on the dope should be banned from entry in Professional Baseball. College teams again with repeat offenders should be given the death penalty! It's time to clean this sport up ruined by idiots! How embarrazing to even think of taking one's child to see these scum ruin this game!Next...Get the politicians off of whatever they are on!

Everyone in baseball has ruined baseball. It's time for tough love! Real tough love! Every ball player caught on the dope should be banned for life! Period! Every team that has players caught violating this rule should be given the death penalty for a year just like NCAA sports with major violations. Players and teams should be fined with the proceeds going to little leagues to make up for the destruction of baseball. The Union representing players who are caught should have major fines placed upon it that are donated to local drug rehab programs. How pathetic a group of players these are! They are so high and mighty they refuse to see that kids look up to them! Guess what you fools many of us don't care anymore! What a fool I would be to bring my son to see you immoral cheaters play a game this nation used to love! For you college guys if you dope it up you should be banned from professional baseball as well and your college should be given the death penalty as well! If your caught on the dope because you are a dope you should be banned from baseball and all baseball related activities including working for a team, broadcasting, endorsing, or anything else. Selig and Fehr need to go! It's time for the fans to fix the game! Next, figuring what kind of dope the politicians are on!

The game that has been played and played well was done by Manny. I pass through Dodger Stadium this evening, and folks were selling T shirt,s saying, "Free Manny" I am not a baseball fan, so I can speak directly, he should not be excused, he knew his action, and it was no secret. Anyway, why would Dodgers build him up so much and there's other players on the team, this was bound to happen, it is called Karma. So with Manny, watch how the Dodgers prove themselves. Poor Marketing.....I would have made a T shirt with the saying, "Manny is Doomed" now thats the fact......This is what happens when folks like is broke and people like him are rich, I am on the outside looking in........For Dodgers fans support the team,!

First of all, Giant fans, you suck. Go place your dirty notes on your on teams web pages.
As far as you go Manny, you have disappointed the great city of Los Angeles and all Dodger fans up and down the coast and across the country. Time for you to go.
Did I forget to say Giants and their fans suck?
We can always TRADE him to the Giants, they don't care WHAT their players take to enhance their game. Having NEVER won a WORLD SERIES makes you feel that way...
Manny, start packing your bags, you idiot...and take Boras with you. Maybe he can treat you as well as he did Adrian Beltre, and sell you out, too.
