4.25 Million Dollars? For what? Throwing a few pitches near the end of a game for a bunch of losers? What a waste.

Ironically the financial pinch does not seem to apply to the sporting/entertainment world. Pay one player that much for one year, increase ticket sales, and see how few fans can afford to sit in the stands to watch the games.

This is just another fine example of professional sports athletes who have over inflated Ego's and attitudes, to go with their over inflated paychecks. I for one cannot afford to go to their sporting events, and help their owners pay for these ridiculous salaries; Last year I made 42,500 annually working 50+ hours a week year round... to sit in the stands and watch an athlete make 42.5 million a year is just absurd.... take those couple extra zero's at the end of his pay and add them to the end of the letter "B" = BOO

Waaaah! Maybe you should have learned how to throw a baseball. Then you would be rich. You'd probably still find something to cry about though.
