Cold bats or not the game was won in the bottom of the 11th, Dobbs hit a homer and they called it foul. Besides that missed called there were several others, and the strike zone was very pitcher friendly, but called them for both teams.

3 runs in one innings, all earned. Come on, they were killing him. Yes the bats were cold but why is Manuel taking out Park and Madson so early. Give me a break. Lefty, righty, no excuse. I could se it IF the bats come alive. Bench Werth.

Send Kendrick back to the iron piggies. The decision not to review the ball Dobbs hit was terrible. It was a homerun and whats the point of instant replay if they are not going to use it on close calls and that homerun was as close as it gets. Hopefully the ump or crew chief gets fined for such poor judgement.

On a happpier note the end of the Mets/Yankees game was classic. I love seeing the constant looks of shock and disappointment on Mets fans faces when they choke and blow leads the way they do.

If Kendrick wants to pitch in MLB he can't get lit up for 3 runs in one inning. It wasn't that the hitters were getting good swings on good pitches...Kendrick was throwing right down the middle of the plate in the last inning.
Kendrick was only on the Phillies team because another pitcher is injured. Kendrick only came into this game in extra innings because the Phillies didn't know how many innings this game would go...They were running out of pitchers.
Madson pitched one inning...He was great again. But, he is the closer and he might be needed to pitch many games in a row. That's why he only pitched one inning.
Kendrick will be back with the Pigs soon...Thank God.

Come on Mandy baby, do you have a crush on Kendrick? He is not some wide eyed minor leaguer put into his first big league game. He spent two seasons with the Phillies. He pitched from that mound numerous times. He is just NOT mentally tough enough to pitch in the majors. He is a nibbler who doesn't have the stuff to be a big time pitcher. This should have been his LAST appearance in the show.
Arguably the two best teams in baseball will have pitchers who battle and bullpens that don't give up much. Haven't you ever heard the maxim, "good pitching beats good hitting every time?" That is what was going on last night, until Kendrick went into his deer in the headlights act.

Dobbs got rob of a home run in the 11th inning. That was a fair ball. Since they allow replay's - lets use them ump's and give it a try. Nice try Charlie fighting for the team. Should have pushed farther and got it viewed.
Phillies are still # 1.!!!!!!

Are you kidding...the bats went cold for "Kendrick." The bats were cold all game for every pitcher that pitched. The headline should read "Phils bats go cold for entire pitching staff." Unfortunately for Phils fans, the 1st base ump and Kendrick really let us down.
