We are very disappointed that the Marlins management saw fit to fire Joe Girardi! How could they fire a manager who had taken a team consisting mostly of youngsters, and making them a team to be reckoned with; very nearly getting enough wins to be in the wild card. From all we read, the players loved Girardi. If they compound this bad decision by trading Dontrelle Willis, Cabrera and others who probably would be very valuable moneywise, they will commit another cardinal sin by having still another firesale.

Just look at who the Marlins owner owned before them, the Expos,(need I say more?) This owner has a huge ego that is letting one of the best young managers get away because of a disagreement. I hope this isn't deja vu like when he owned the expos.
