IronPigs right-hander Kyle Kendrick is headed back to Philadelphia. Kendrick was set to toe the rubber tonight for the IronPigs, but instead will take the roster spot of Phillies ' reliever Scott Eyre , who was reportedly placed on the disabled list this afternoon.

Hope he does good, but why isn't Carpenter getting called up yet? His numbers are very good and he's been consistent.

Kendrick needs to go back to A ball or AA ball. He just doesn't have what it takes for the major leagues. They've given him too many chances. He caves under big league pressure.
