I watched the game last night mercifully up until the bottom of the ninth and then another rain delay. I missed the bottom of the ninth only to find out that we lost on a grand slam off of Jorge Julio! Jorge Julio needs to go back to the minors and stay there until he can get his confidence back if ever. I think it's his brain that works against him. Maybe he doesn't play well in front of a crowd? As far as Fredi goes I don't think he's doing a bad job, he is just stuck with some bad pieces to a puzzle. I think he would do fine with a good team. This team is having it's share of problems right now but I will still watch them and root for them. Considering we have the lowest payroll in baseball we still compete until the bullpen comes in and blows a few. I will still remain a Marlins Fan to the end!

See me and Julio and Freddie Gonzalez down by the school yard.

I was surprised after I woke up and could not get back to sleep that surfing through the channels I found that the Marlin game was on bottom of the 9th at about 2 am in the morning. Marlins leading 3 to 2 and then the bull pen filled up the bases and then Freddie got Julio and Julio gave it up, the big slam with 2 outs. Oi vay! That was just what I needed to be able to go back to sleep.

But Tankersley was awful too and Freddie put him there and left him to die when he apparently did not have anything at all.

Is this going to be another year like the last 3 or so. And Freddie is beginning to show signs of being another Girardi with a pitching staff that he does not know what to do.
