Listen.....that's what Pedro has become....5-6 innings, 4-5 runs. He fought through 6 innings while throwing 116 pitches. It was a very gutty performance from a future Hall of Famer. And lets not forget Pedro drove in the only two runs.
Now is he on my post season roster ?....of course. What role will he plays and how much rope he gets is up to Jerry.
By the way, how 'bout Manuel! I actually enjoy watching the post game interviews.....great laugh....great sense of humor. Refreshing. I can see why players like playing for him......he's fun! I'd give him a two year deal at least. "What if any contract would you offer Jerry Manuel"

After watching the last two gams with the Braves. the Mets need to bench Pedro and Castillo. If we are in the post season , letting these guys sit the bench will give us a much better chance. This is how bad these guys are.Is obvius Pedro is 75% of the pitcher he was after being rehabbed. This is not good enough in the majors.Castillo is one LOUSY hitter-nothing more to add-the guy is a drag!

Ryan Church was 2 for 27 at the end of the game. He is no threat in the six-hole anymore and gives Delgado no protection.

This isn't the same bat that we had before the injuries. Now, he's an automatic out.

Pedro needs to pitch a decent game or hang up his spikes.

I would give Jerry a one year contract and tell him that Walter Alston made the H.O.F. as a manager with 23 one year contracts.

Daily Horoscope for December 30

Libra

If you're invited to a party or gathering today and you don't know whether to go, you should. You'll have a terrific time and you might meet someone who always makes your knees go weak. Even if it's a perfectly harmless flirtation and you're both happily committed to other people, it will still do your ego good to have a tantalizing conversation with this person.
