Interesting. Not exactly my cup of tea, but I admire their bravery.

Sorry macho men, I find blood drinking not only risky, but gross.

They can get liver flukes from such stupid behavior, amongst other nasty parasites, such as eyeworms. Oh well, no great loss. Take your stupidity out of the gene pool.

At least it wasn't human. Eating anything from the same species is the riskiest.

That was a cheap shot. I tend to support the Tea Party and consider the slur you used on par with racial and orientational slurs. They are human too, even if you cannot find their heart. The poster after you was even more mean. It would be nice to have Offbeat without the invectives and the tit-for-tat stuff. It is interesting that in a recent popularity poll, Occupy came in first, the Tea Party came in second, the government came in third, and Wall Street came in last.

Outside of all that, how have you been?

Politics,... I agree we shouldn't go there, but they've all been drinking our blood equally for ages.

Volunteering now, to stand in the corner,.. I thought he was speaking of a certain sex act. Maybe I do have a dirty mind.[how long should I stay in the corner?]

I'm well, PG, thanks. With respect to your criticism...
You are right that this is not a political forum, and I should have refrained from trying to make it one. But one rarely gets such a good straight line.

That aside, nice to hear from you.

As to your preferences, you probably know that I'm unalterably opposed to the Tea Party. To me, it reeks of ignorance, some racism, and most of all, masochism. On the other hand, if enough Tea Party supporters were against the Wall Street swindlers, joining with the 99 percenters could make for a very powerful bloc with a common interest.

Good points. Maybe if the less extreme of both movements could come together. I don't care for the alleged racism of the TP and feel the cavalier attitude might be a bit far. Yet I don't quite care for the belligerent attitude of OWS, though they certainly have good points. Plus the number of rapes and murders happening at OWS sites make them look bad. I do agree with their notion that they should have the right to gather. I read nothing about permits in the Constitution. I also wonder how many of the crimes were committed by OWS supporters, and how many were just opportunists, or worse, government setups.

Yes, we might not see eye to eye on a lot of things, but we've been mostly okay with one another. You are a familiar poster and a part of the online scenery.

Yes, many who dislike the Tea Party deliberately use the sexual imagery. You can look up that term on Wikipedia, and there is a drawing there of a couple engaging in that.

I agree that politicians of both parties have been practicing vampirism against us for ages.
