How long will it take the Yankee front office of brilliant baseball men to realize that Girardi is the second coming of Buck Showalther, just with a marine hair cut and in better shape? Can't wait for another season of his non-speak interveiws. Get rid of this stiff.

hint hint...those championships the Yankees won in the early 2000 years were won with the team and nucleus that BUCK SHOWALTER built. if Girardi is the next Buck then we're in for a fun ride...

They might as well be shooting pool, they'll be shooting it at the end of September as well.

When will they learn, you can't buy a championship.

If they're lucky they will end up in second place, but more likely, it will be third place.

Soon all those Yankee fans will be paying those outrageous prices to see a game, so A-Whole and the rest can purchase their roids.

Go have your kids teach you how to have a catch.

I don't think even Hank will be drunkenly screaming profanities at the umpires while sitting by the dugout, so Girardi won't get the chance to tell another spoiled jerkwad to shut up.

yell me this philosophy youpeople have on "buying championships". if you're looking to win, dont you want to put the best team on the field. that consists of the best players.
tell me this...think back to when you were a kid and all your friends got together to play baseball. yous lined up, chose captains and then picked teams player by player...now my question...Did you pick the best players for your team as they were available or did you pick the group of friends that got along best ???

"We'll say they BOTH did it?"

How freaking wishy-washy can you get?!

The Yankees aer going to make it this year because they've got an arsenal of pitcher, decent batting and even great fielding.

So long as Girardi treats his men like men then they should do it.

Last year he coddle Joba like a wet nurse. Enough is enough. He's a big boy.

wishy washy-nah, people who know me would be the last to say i'm wishy washy. i just figured why argue about yet another topic that occured 10+ yrs ago. i'd rather watch as they go forward and win games in 2009, instead of debate with more knuckleheads that cant seem to understand the simple concept of fielding a team with the best players possible gives you the greatest chance of winning...
