Come on. The truth is that the only reason that White is still in Chico is that his family and friends and neighbors come to the park when he throws. Any other pitcher 4-8 with a 7 game losing streak would be released, traded or relegated to the bully. Blaming his team for not making the plays is just denial of a less than average performance and using others as scapegoats. The fact that those are hits not errors shows that those are his responsibility not the team's. What is his ERA for the second half? It's another example of Jayce's ability to run a team into the cellar. I'm sure that all of last year's team (except for the two part time holdovers) are laughing at the failed experiment called the RenoYuma Silver Scorpions of Chico. The Curse, the Curse.

Evan White is a solid pitcher, and a back-to-back All-Star. He works deep into games. He most certainly deserves a spot in the rotation. His being local has nothing to do with his staying on the team. If anything, him being local should give Outlaw fans a reason to enjoy, as oppose to cry about Pringle and Boggs not being around

Boo hoo, Joe. Sorry you're gone. It seems to happen to the best of Outlaws. 4-8 overall, 0-7 in last seven starts, overall 5.46 ERA, 7.43 second half ERA. This is far from solid, and his being local seems to have a lot to do with his position, "...estimate that 20-25 extra seats are sold during his home outings because he is playing close to hometown Corning...". If All Star voting were held now, do you seriously believe he would be elected? Oh, well, how's life at NAU?
