Finally I saw the Marlins leading in the 9th inning and I did not have to reach for a beer. I knew that whom ever came in to close could not be worse than Lindstrom. What a game? Bonifacio came through finally, however he needs to learn to hit the ball on the ground with his speed. I can now relax knowing that tomorrow if we have a lead, Lindstrom won't be there to blow it. Go Fish, two games behind Philly.

Hermida comes up to bat with a 2-0 lead, no outs and men on 1st and 2nd. And because he cant bunt he hits into a double play, ruining a big inning. Later in the game he lets a fly ball drop right in front of him. Then after getting his first hit in 26 AB's he's rounding 3rd on someone elses hit and he was so slow that leaves changed colors during his run. Of course he was thrown out at the plate. Its amazing we won despite him.

Nice win! Go Marlins!

Nolasco back in form, Miller pitching very solid in his last 3 starts and of course our ace JJ, man if Volstad can get back to form and this guy West can give us a few wins this team can make some noise.
We need to give Meyer a chance to close consistently. My heart can't take many more 9th innings. Nice to see some clutch situational hitting again out of this team. The Phils and the Mets are playing terrible this is our time to jump ahead.. Go Marlins!!! Cohglan is a stud... |

As awful as Hermida is, don't forget Bo "Send 'em anyway" Porter's role in this. 1 out, Hermida the tortoise on second base, Ross on deck and the right fielder with a gun. Only he would send this shlub. The excuse me slide at home was just wonderful. NOT. However, nice job by Nolasco and Meyer. No Lindstrom, no problem. Hey Fredi, remember these games when he comes back. |

Is there any reason Cody Ross is still sitting at 7th in the lineup? This dude has been hitting the cover off the ball the past few weeks. I think he should be 5th followed by Hermida and then Uggla at 7th. Anyone else with me?

And the reason is Fredi "I don't have a clue" Gonzalez. |

Your right! |

I like how they're playing! Coughlan is just an all around balanced player with an excellent eye at the plate, Ross is starting to hit again, pitching has gotten better. Bonafacio, Hermida, and Uggla need to get their acts together. Still, we are going to be right in the mix at the end of the season....count on it.
