Oh please. Baseball knew what was going on and they pushed it. It was obvious Sammy and Big Mac were juicing, and instead of Baseball putting their foot down, they produced the "Chicks love the long ball" ads?
During that time, 30 HRs was nothing. The leaders were hitting 50-65 HRs. This year the leader my hit 40. And those are your sluggers. I don't blame the players. They did what was allowed by the league. And now baseball is being tough. Selig loves it that people blame the players for this. |
