It sounds as if Jake Peavy is having a miracle recovery from surgery in Chicago. If that's true, the White Sox will have a very good starting rotation and a decent lineup. Detroit's starting rotation is shakier, despite the good hitters and the improving young players the Tigers will have.

The Tigers are starting to look like a World Series contender but why did they get rid of the left handed all-star Johnny Damon?
