Sounds like Gardys warming up to get tossed out of a game in the near future. This sterling strategy should light a fuse under our heroes. Did Joe and Justin really go 3-23 in this series? Not good. Seattle are a second level team. This Bonds-Kent, Maris-Mantle, Ramirez-Ortiz wannabe tandem better hurry up and pad their numbers before the Senator/Twins run into a legitimate contender and they get shut down again. Thank god this same phenomenon is occuring throughout the Central Division. Otherwise weed be out of contention by July 1.

It's funny, but in the articles so far no Twins have shown much anger, disappointment, or frustration. It's just business as usual, almost as if they had won the series against Seattle. Kevin Slowey says it is possible to hit homers in Seattle. The Seattle hitters clubbed three off him yesterday.

Morneau and Mauer are a talented tandem. Why they can't seem to do much on the road is inexplicable. Against Oakland, they will face three left-handed starters. We can expect batting averages to dip and more of a slide if the right-handers, like Harris, don't pick things up. Redmond and even Young need to play. It's another opportunity for Young to break out of his funk.

I believe Seattle has a secret movable outfield fence that they can move in when Seattle bats and move it waaaaay back-back-back-back-back when the Twins bat. That's got to be the reason.

Dickey has been doing really well in long-relief. Should he get a starters role? Hmmm, maybe. Harris should be the starting 2nd baseman once Punto comes off teh DL. Nick's glove is fab-u-lous so the team can absorb his low batting average. Casilla is a poor man's Punto, so no, the team cannot afford tohave him in the line-up.
