*L* lets see where your red sux are at the end of the season |
Who wrote the caption? That's not Jorge Posada in the picture; come on, he's not even wearing catching gear!!
What a nice piece of journalism; can't even get the caption right!
Anyway, the only pennant the YANKEES can buy this year will be from a souvenir stand! |

1 God game one of 162. Get real. We'll see where that Murderers Row of a linup they have in Beantown is at the end of the season. |
Well with all the hype and you fans bragging about CC and Tbagger, they sure bombed, didn't they? |

1 No, that's your brother that does that I hear. Typical classless Yankee fan!!! The truth about Joba hurts huh....tic tac, tic tac ******* |
Another one that doesn't get it......all we are saying is after all the hype they choked!!! |
Please you Sox fans are the definition of classless. Let me guess - fan since 2004, like most of them. |
Actually you are the one who doesn`t get it..The hype is for the season not one meaningless game...The signings and media hype isn`t based on the first game of the season |
Yep yep, you're right, sure, whatever you say |
Yep Josh, and it's a sign of things to come.....they will choke for the rest of the season. Then who will be laughing at how much $$$ the Yankees spent |
It's only one game. Only one. An 0-fer for a game and a single bombed-out start does not a season make. "Hype" consists of performance for an entire season, not for a single game. Shut up, all of you who're making predictions, you're making yourself look like fools. Especially you in posts 17 and 18 (I won't dignify you enough to identify your post name). Remember the 1998 Yankees, who started 0-3 and then 1-4, and then went on to win 114 regular-season games? I won't compare this year's team to the Yankees of 1998, but Steinbrenner was calling for heads to roll after the 0-3 start in '98! It's ONE GAME. One.

You all need to do a little bit more research before you put a subtitle to a photo. Anyone that knows the game of baseball knows that the player sliding in the photo is not being persued by catcher Jorge Posada. Don't these get proof read?

And the YANKEES STILL S U C K!!! Spending millions doesn't buy you a championship. So your point would be?? |
