Yanks waste chances, but top A's in 12th

A win is a win is a win! It doesn't matter how ya get it!
It appears that Cano is finally snapping out of his season long funk. The hits are coming and his average is climbing.

The top half of the order was basically unproductive tonight. Did you think Molina stuck his knee into the last pitch? Hmmmmm.

I really like Cano. He seems to be getting back on track hitting-wise. I love his defense!

Yanks must have won a couple and the Mets and Sox must have dropped a couple; why else would this comments section be void of Mets and Sox fans posing as Yankees' haters?

Yankee offense continues to stink. Not sure how to fix it, other than acquire other players. By the way, that HBP that Molina took looked like it would hurt. Right on the kneecap. Was he alright?

It's very simple. The Yankees need to drive runners home. They're leaving way too many men on base, and the team average with RISP is abysmal! Their pitching has been better than expected, but their hitting needs to get going. There is no reason why A-Rod, Abreu, Jeter, Giambi and Posada should be batting this poorly, especially against teams like the A's. This was a win, but an ugly one!

I agree I'd like to see the Yankee hitters come to life, however, I think you're taking the Oakland staff a bit too lightly. They have the best ERA in the league.

The offense still stinks. The opposition pitchers can't all be great.
