Kyle Farnsworth is a beefstew, riiiight???

Antother former steroid head added to the collection !!!

Perfect one steroid abuser replacing another steroid abuser Posada (think his 'big' number last year and his injury this year are NOT steroid related???? Think again) And I-Rod fits right in with all the other steroid abusers on the Yankee: Giambi, Pettie, Abreu, Jetter (yep him too) and of course A-Wol.

This is a great trade for the Yanks. They address a huge weakness with one of the best off/def catchers in the game. Losing Farnsworth is a non-impact loss. Last piece will be when the Mariners finally accept that no one is goung to take Waskburn off their hands and they give him to the Yanks to replace Ponson.

Another big named star for the Yankees and another year that they won't win the World Series. Haven't the Yankees learned that you can't buy championships.

This was a mistake.
18 years in the bigs at age 37 and a sub .250 avg...this for a set up man who has finally come into his own (but will probably miss NYC and their fans like a case of crabs). They have the catching talent. Molina is the best defensive catcher in the game today...and they've got others. As a Yankee fan, I bum out... |

This is a horrible deal. Farnsworth has been lights out the last few months. Molina is very solid defensively and I would take bullpen (Farnsworth) and a non-offensive catcher anyday. Pudge is declining, he is going to take time to adapt to NY, and its not worth the risk. The Yankees were more solid with keeping Farnsworth. Bad deal Cashman. Its almost time for you to go.

1 Yeah Jeter definitely has the body type of a steroid abuser, you fool...... |

So is he I-rod or Pudge-rod? The latter sounds like something that would make Beavis and Butthead chuckle.

Frankie ... yeah, you must be the expert. I went to a gym with these twins. 6' 2" rail thin but solid... total 'roid heads. Took them and sold them.
You have no idea what you are talking about. |

Great move for the yankees.

A week ago Micheal Ky was bestowing the virtues of Molina as if the Yankees just signed Johnny Bench. Saw we all believed him. Now he's boasting that Ivan is the answer. Can somebody please tell me who's better? Molina or Ivan. Mr. Kay seems confused.

Im with you Frankie. As a Mets fan we would have been lambasted for a deal like this. Imagine we traded Heilman for Jason Kendall. I mean that is what your getting an aging catcher for a guy in Farnsworth who has finally come into his own. You are now trusting the eighth inning to minor leaguers. This tells me that Ian Kennedy may be coming back to replace Joba and Kyle as the 8th inning guy. Can he handle it only time will tell but still this was a trade for the sake of trading that shouldn't been done. The way the reliever market is now at this time of year they could have dealt Kyle to the Rangers for Laird or Salty. I mean guys like David Weathers could have gotten Pudge. As a fan I think the Yankees got hosed on this one but they totally won the deal with the Pirates so I guess it evens out. |

Molina plays better when he plays a few times a week. they will share the spot, and I think it will work out just fine. Yes, Farns was just starting to pitch well, but thats a good time to trade him, while his value is up. |

"Dr." Roberts, I know exactly what I am talking about and probably by the end of the year the court will be releasing the identities of ALL MLB players that tested positive from 2003, when they did a random test. |
||||
They definitely came out way on top with the Pirates deal. They put all their eggs in with Kennedy and Hughes and made them untouchable for Santana. Trusting the late innings is a shaky proposition. |
||||
Oh and "Dr." Roberts, there is nothing more ignorant than admitting you sold steroids on a message board, so your post could be flagged and you IP address discovered. Smart move "Dr". |
||||
Because you know douchebag. Just go to another board where people might not think (and I stress might) you're a tool. |
