The Mets would be foolish not to explore the possibility of trading for Pierre.

Please don't trade Juan Pierre. Not even for a starting pitcher who has no history of blowing out his arm. Trade prospects.

Quit with the "if the Dodgers make the world series" stuff. Manny can't pitch, and starting pitching is what wins playoff series (See Hershiser, Orel). Who wants to go into a short series behind Bills, Wolf, Kuroda and Kershaw? The Dodgers need an ace or they'll never see the NLCS.

Juan did a great job, no doubt about that; but the Dodgers need a big bat in there for now. I would like to see Juan give each outfielder a rest each week and that would be three starts for him. Also he is going to provide a option off the bench when that pitchng change will call for a pinch hitter.

Besides when Manny gets that double in the bottom of the ninth to put the winning run on second, I can think of no better pinch runner than Juan. Thanks again Juan, and would all the morons quit trying to pull the team apart.

Let Manny be Manny and let Juan be Juan.

You'll excuse me if the baseball season ended for me on May 7th. It was a crushing victory aftermath, elevating the Dodgers to a 6 1/2 game lead in the NL West. Hope to be able to rebound from the bitter disappointment of the juicy 2009 season and be ready for next year. Rameriz's behavior was the crowning body blow to this fan's pysche. He should never again be allowed the privilege of wearing that wonderful uniform. As it stands at present, you can take the game and..................it.

Hats off to you, Juan Pierre!

Throughout your starting days, you gave your all.

I, for one, appreciated your "old-fashioned baseball." It was a joy to watch you playing your heart out for "the team."

Stay golden!

The dodgers dont want to trade Juan. cause he has proven him self. and how long is manny going to be around. I would hate to know that we traded him away just to find out that manny cant get the deal that he wants. and next year there playing for other teams.

This situation should work out for the best in both cases. Pierre has proved himself a starting player in the MLB. If the Dodgers are smart, they will get another solid starting pitcher for Pierre, and Pierre will get to go out and play the game that he was born to play every day. I hope the right thing is done, and both parties benefit like they should.

Pierre did a tremendous job and the L.A. Dodgers are very fortunate to have him as part of their team! I'm not a Manny fan nor a hater but all these years of being a Dodger fan - it's been a great season with and without Manny! Go Dodgers!:-)

Juan Pierre did an outstanding job. My sons (5 1/2 and 3) got to watch a VERY skilled player play hard every day and do the little things right. Between Juan and Orlando Hudson, they saw perfect baseball role models. They will be swept away by the dreadlocks and long ball, but I will do what I can to see they always remember Juan Pierre's play this past 50 games. The selfish part of me wants Juan to stay a Dodger, but if he can play everyday, I won't want to hold him back. I would love to see him play, just not AGAINST us! Thank you Juan Pierre!

Juan Pierre deserves a spot. Without him, who knows what situation the Dodgers would be in.

Trade Manny for some pitching and keep Juan, although he doesn't hit home runs he does get hits and steals bases and is a better fielder and he gives %100 ALL the time. he is a class act.

Juan Pierre has done a fabulous job for the Dodgers!! He has certainly earned a starting position with the Dodgers, and he did it without the use of performance-enhancing drugs!! He deserves to be treated better. Put Manny on the bench more and let Pierre play more!!

The Phillies won the Wolrd series last year with a very underwhelming staff. Cole Hamels stepped up, but Moyers, Blanton, etc.?

The Dodgers could do it without makig a trade, IMO.

You're in a strange mood, Sagittarius. You're feeling impatient and cross, and nothing is quite right. No wonder, with Mercury and Mars retrograde, under a Full Moon lunar eclipse! But is it necessary to be quite so contrary, so determined to do the opposite of what's expected of you? Try to sort out the problem sooner rather than later, then do something energetic and therapeutic so you can burn off your nervous energy. Then you're all set for a great New Year's Eve!
