I don't recall him saying that, or at least in the context you present.

Do you remember when/where you heard that? A link would be great.

They should wait as long as possible for these guys to come back. If they rush them for any reason then the whole organization is idiotic.

The only one who wants to rush these players back is Wedge, because he knows he should have been fired months ago. Anything other than a last-place finish will probably save his job, because the Dolans are counting on continued mediocrity to keep the payroll down and the profit margins up.

If they are healthy...get them back in the lineup. If not...there is really nothing to win at this time ...so be sure they get healthy.

Maybe the reason he wants them back is to show all the idiots who don't believe having the 3 & 4 hitter miss so much time had any effect on the offense this year.

Can Josh play 3B? Does he have a strong enough arm? Since we have a void for a 3rd baseman it might be good for him to at least try it.

As for the Wedge bashers, it is not his fault the heart of his lineup and his #2 and #3 pitchers got hurt. 3rd place would be a miracle finish and it's entirely possible. I'm not saying it would be fun, but it is possible.

They make a difference, but this team wasn't hitting with the two of them in the lineup. Victor will make a difference, I'm not sure what Hafner will do.

He did not say that. So, unless moronic ghetto-necks like you are going to provide links to your horsecrap, you should shut the he11 up, moron.

Think about it...it had to do with the fact the two of them were playing hurt......

i agree this was never said by Hafner, so that does make the poster BOTH an idiot and a liar...

you have been asked to prove it with reference, and just like all liars, you mumble nothing but more lies

we aren't sitting drunk in a bar, and that may be why no one is listening to your make believe lies as they normally might in a drunken and ignorant state...how is your major league baseball team doing in Oklahoma? your basketball NBA team? the football NFL team?

guess we know now why all you can do is bitch about other's teams with lies and stupidity

Easy on AsCab... he's had the prototype for the first full season in the majors... not having success/other teams figuring him out, then he goes down to AAA, refines his approach, comes back up and proceeds to hit over .300 or whatever it has been to raise his BA from the low .100's to .228 in a couple weeks.

I agree. I was over to watch them on Sunday and Ascab has a great glove and looked good at the plate. He can also bunt which is nice. He is hitting the ball well, fielding great and looks like he may have learned a lesson about thinking he had it made without working hard. I would like to see Barfied get a shot though. Maybe third? The way Jhonny is hitting the ball, I would love to see the big shift of Ascab to short, Jhonny to third and Barfield at second. Improves defense (particularly range) and team speed.

I still say we trade for Jimmy Rollins this offseason and move Peralta to 3B.
