Well, 10 in a row would be impressive -- you can't deny it would be a team effort.

10 losses in a row is definitely within reach. What a crappy team the Indians turned out to be this year. Wedge, Shapiro, & the CHEAPIE Dolans should be proud.

Glad to see CC won his first start for the Brewers 7-3. At least they got him some runs to work with for the victory.

What a joke - can't help but remind all the tribe faithful how I saw this coming in March. I thought 90 losses, OMG thinks 100, now it apears they may not win again until next year. Amazing to see what Oakland gets compared to what we get for a better pitcher, shapiro and his boy wedge need to be on the next plane out of here and the dolans need to put the for sale sign up or better yet just pack the moving vans and head for Montreal - heard they need a team.

Let's see. The A's gave up a very good pitcher and a decent pitcher for a decent pitcher, a weak hitting outfielder, a weak hitting infielder and an outfield prospect and you consider that better than what Shapiro got for C.C.?

I pity Ocker. He has to find something to write about when really there's not much of interest and the only consistency the team shows is losing. Hasn't won a game in July!
This season hasn't been exciting since Martinez pulled the hamstring--what was that, the first or second game? I'm more inclined to go to an Aeros game now.

Oh well, back to the Tribe of the 70s and 80s. At least there will be plenty of cheap tickets!

You have to give credit where credit is due.

kBAD, you were calling this team out early on and, unfortunately, you were correct.

Maybe...considering none of our "prospects" have played in the majors yet, who knows if they'll turn out to be good, decent, or bad. Also, who cares what the A's did? That doesn't make the Indians' moves right.

CC's first words after the win were what does that 7 on the scoreboard mean, oh these guys can score more than 2 runs in a game.

As Herb allegedly used to say, "If you're cruisin' or boozin', c'mon down to the ballpark and watch the Tribe do some losin'!"

Shapiro should designate the remainder of the '08 season as "Turn-Back-The-Clock ", and dress up the Tribe as the 1899 Cleveland Spiders (winners of 20 games overall, 12 of their last 116).

Legend has it, ownership was so tight, they even released batboy O. M. Grump.

Take away #3 and #4 hitters like the Indians say decimated the team.......the problem is...other than Blake (274) and Sizemore (269), the rest of the teams batting average stinks....
I think the Tribe should quit using injuries as an excuse. YOU JUST DON"T HAVE ANY TALENT!!

CC was a "lazy ace", anyway. He cost us a World Series trip last year! I hope he gets his money and the team who gives it to him suffers when he breaks down before his long-term contract is over. This is one of the many reasons why baseball sucks - guaranteed contracts. The same with basketball - guaranteed contracts. The only sport that does NOT have guaranteed contracts - football. In the NFL, the only thing guaranteed is the signing bonus. When you are cut in the NFL, so is your contract. Bring on the true fan sport - NFL football. GO BROWNS!!!!!!!

That's funny. Anyone can call out any team they hate. OMG has always been doing it. Until they win, then he hops on the bandwagon. Like the loser that he is.

You ever play Poker? If shapiro holds his cards to the trade deadline the price to deal would have went up as several teams began a bidding war. Instead we sell early and get little in return - Laporta is at least another full year from the big leagues and the rest of the rag tag bunch may never make it EVER, so explain to me again how shapiro fleeced the Brewers.
