Anthony Bosch is well known in Latin American baseball circles, sources say. His relationships with players date at least from the earlier part of the decade, when he was seen attending parties with players and known to procure tickets to big league ballparks, especially in Boston and New York.

Hmmmmmmmm Where there is smoke there is usually fire. Maybe those Sox weren't so clean afterall. haha Just a matter of time folks till it all comes out.

<quoted text> That sounds like a great way to enjoy the game. But I want to go back to the original topic now which is the effect of the high Yankee payroll. There are guys like me (and my son for that matter) that enjoy attending the game. But it's tough because ticket prices are high in part due to a high payroll. Honestly I would be just as content watching Cody Ransom playing third over A-Fraud if by dumping A-Fraud's salary, ticket prices were reduced by say 10%.
i totally see your point, BUT let's say the Yankees did dump alot of high payroll players, say 1/2 of them, and dropped your ticket price by 40-50%, but the trade off is they have a season like the nationals, or another subpar team and they didnt make playoffs, and werent in the race each yr...would you then still enjoy going as much? i guess it comes down to whethr ya like going 2 or 3 times to see the players you wanna see, and win or go to 20-30 games per yr, not really know the guys cuz they not that good. it's like eating really good but expensive food. you can go to Wendys everyday for a burger or can go to Ruth Chris seldom but enjoy a really great steak.
