the terrible signings of Castilla / Perez are costing this team big time..unable to ad payroll, this team simply doesn't have the horses to win the East..just think what the Mets could do with an extra 10-12m...

Wilbur. The Phillies are pretty much healthy and just lost 5 in a row at home and as bad as the Mets have played they are STILL only 2 games out. You can look at this 2 ways. The Mets are staying afloat with a but load of injuries..I mean a but load. They will get Ollie, Putz, Delgado, Reyes, Pagan, Maine, and maybe even Wags back just after the All Star break in 2 weeks or at the latest by the beginning of August. The advantage we have over the Phillies is that our starting pitching is better top to bottom so we may squeeze in a win while they have to out slug you which as you have seen recently doesn't always happen. It is what it is. They can do this. We just have to be patient as fans because it is still a long season.

BBBBBwwwwwwaaaaaaaahahahahahah a
Johan "The Great" Santana Banana chokes again!!!
The NY MU TS are 2 games over .500.
The Great Santana Banana loses to a team that is under .500.
The highest paid pitcher in MLB and he chokes in his last two outings.
Speaking of "outings", don't you think it's time for squeeky voiced, tweezed eyebrows David Wright should come out of the closet like all of the other NY MU TS that are a little "Light in the Loafers"?
BBBBBBBBwwwwwwwaaaaahahahahaha hahaha
The NY M UTS...highest paid team in the NL every year with nothing to show for it. Their most recent sucess is a pathetic Wild Card Banner and an NL Champ bannner from 2000 when they were humiliated by the Yankees..... The NY MELTS are melting early this year. What a great division.... 2 games above .500 and in second place in their division...
Go Phillies...still in first.!!!!!!

I love how when the NY MELTS lose in a humiliating way (which is often) they get a positive spin from the media and there fans.
Get over it folks. The NY MESS are losers. They WILL never amount to anything.
They have not won a World Series in 23 years.
And they have won only one WS in the last 39 Years!!!!
They have a lifetime losing record and the record for the worst single season record in MLB history.. oh, yeah and the record for last week of the season chokes!!!!

LMFAO...GO phillies!!!!

Who would believe it? The Mets playing with half a team are only 2 out of first while the Yankmees continue their free fall with that gazillion dollar payroll! The Yankmees, with zero for the season against the Sox, outplayed in 2 games by the injury riddled Mets, stepped on by the minor league Nats, and now it's Florida's turn to continue the Yankmee drive to 4th place. Ya gotta love it! Yeah Yankmees!!!

I love how losers come here to talk about another team that is choking when their own team is in a free fall, this week a Philly fan, last week a Yankee Fan or vice versa depends on which personality is out to play on any given day.

And yet the Yankees can't even win a series at home against the last place Nats and Johnny Damon should be playing left field for Chico's Bail Bonds, not the Yankees.

Yea and the Yuckees looked great last night against the Marlins. That Damon is some fielder, does anyone in baseball have a weaker arm. And Pay-Rod,he had a tough night with Kate Hudson so he took the game off,and Cano was real clutch in the ninth.Your right the Yucks are the team to root for

. girlie-boy if they haven't won a ws in 23 years how could they have only won 1 in 39 years, does 1969 count, i believe that makes 2 WS, how dem phillies do, another choke job in the 9th inning, losing to a team under 500, going for the sweep today, boy that Bull Pen is lights out, cant wait for the Houston castoff Lidge to return, so he can stink up the place again. How dem Skankees do, Johnny Damon should win the Gold glove, over the hill Capn Jeter; aka double play machine and of course is "Robbie Cano dont you know" GAME OVER THE YANKEES LOSE, THHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEE YANKEES LOSEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. Good news girlie-boy who probably can't leave the bed too much because he's not toilet traained, Aroid plays today. again
"THE YANKEES LOSE THEEEEEEEE YANKEES LOSE
another season of no Oct baseball, 9 years and counting
